  1. Ohhh and yes, I forgot to plug in to find y... but it uses same properties

  2. Yeah...

Basically, I did what Dan did. Only differently.

    Do you get it now?

And the website really is fantabulous. Math homework help, loves. It's my second husband.

  3. You have to give your solution in an ordered pair for a system of equations. You can try solving by substitution, elimination, or graphing. Graphing is often the worst choice, bevause you need your lines to be perfectly straight and it's hard to tell exactly what the coordinate is unless it's a whole number. X=first coordinate y=second so it's (x,y)

  4. Idk what the honker-mabobber and the whoopty-doo lopside swirl is, but I can solve them and that's all that matters.

  5. Well the ones with like 2/5x and stuff are the ones that are weird.

The basic just finding common denominators and adding numerators and stuff is easy.. But there are more 

  6. I wanna see!  I help!

    Is pimd whose wife? .-.

  7. And.... I cant use any calculators or anything in the exam... So im looking for the simplest solution that doesnt involve lots of steps cuz i only have 1.3 minites to answer it..

  8. Ok I got the ones from the picture down. Thanks everyone!

    Now..... I got more 

Sorry, I just lost it all 
And some of the ones im gonna post I swear I've never seen in my life.....

  9. Maybe I should bump the math thread

  10. Number 26, you can just add the two fractions and then cross multiply with 6

  11. For 26 you make a common denominator and add what you have with x. Then you divide the coefficient of x to the other side.

  12. Ok here it goes: give me a while to explain..

  13. So in this one, there are two columns. Column A and Column B.
(I marked them with pencil below the problem) And I have to find out which column has the highest value. For instance, if column A's answer is 6, Column B alread has it's answer (7) that would make column B the answer. Get it? sooo...

I have to solve for column A. And in the middle, it gives me what X and Y are.

I've never done this in my life... Cuz it's like, fracception? Fraction inside a fraction? Idk. Anyway here it goes:

  14. Now, I know how to substitute for X and add the fractions, but I get a fraction inside a fraction.

    I think I got

    6
    5
    6

? Idk if i wrote it right

  15. Lol I messed up one sec

  16. Wait but for the 1/2 (plus) 1/3 isnt it "what you do to the bottom you do to the top"? After finding the common denominators

Or is that other problems 
