Ok, look, I commented on a topic that's off topic that a mod brought up. Don't blame me for contributing in a positive, yet slightly debatable way. I'm neutral here and only interested in bettering the gameplay
No they shouldn’t. Do you realize how many weird adds regular players get? Theirs would probably be doubled or tripled.
I say no. They get enough crap throughout the days without an open inbox, imagine with one. It'd be hell and they would constantly be harassed with messages that 99% of the time wouldn't be asking for help. They play the game like everyone else. They should be having fun, not being bombarded
Tbh, I usually check if the player is silenced or not before I ignore requests. I will occasionally follow back and ask what they need. Honestly though, I don't think there has been one time that the response hasn't been something creepy, someone just saying hi for no real reason, or just someone literally asking to be my friend. The easier solution to this, though, is don't get silenced. It really isn't that hard.
Good point. They might've. The chat history doesn't go any further, and I can't remember what I put. I do remember a mod kept trying to clear my silenced status. I even ended up typing the silenced status deliberately and I still got my status cleared.
