  6. Brown rice is healthier tho isnt it? Cuz white rice is brown rice but with the outer layer of nutrients stripped off or something
     
  7. Brown rice is good for certain things. Depends on what is being served
     
  8. Brown rice is known for causing indigestion and being too fibrous. That's why ppl started stripping the husk in the first place. Crazy ppl nowadays insist on everything being in it's natural state. The same ppl who think white potatoes are bad for us and sweet potato fries are somehow a healthier version than normal fries

  11. Wrong. Too much fibre can cause constipation and gut injuries

  13. Everything is healthy in moderation, and fibre has great health benefits.
     
  14. We were discussing 'too much' not 'in moderation.' Obviously fibre has health benefits. Brown rice is too fibrous tho, it's better to get fibre from fruits/veggies/oats/other simpler grains

  16. hold up, isn't it the other way around for constipation? Like, you get constipation if you lack fibre?

  18. Can do both. You need a certain balance and can't go over that. If u eat enough veg and fruits tho brown rice will quickly push u over the acceptable amount of fibre
