"Jake , I want you, and two others to others to go to our neighboring city, Loral and weaken their forces. We don't need any distractions while we fight Maldor." Said the king."This won't be hard , so just come back to me when you complete the task, understood?" "Yes my lord. Jake said. "Who will accompany me?" "A man named Rals.I think you will find him of great assistance on the trip." The king said. As if on cue, an old man walked in the room. He was tall, muscular, and had a bow in his hands. Jake chuckled. "Him?How can an old man help me?" Jake said. Before he had realized what happened, an arrow had his right arm pinned to the wall behind him. "Not such an old man now, am I?" Rals said.
"I see I underestimated your ability." Jake said, pulling the arrow out of his cloak.Rals nodded. "So who's the other person?" Jake asked the king. "Sarah! Come in!" The king yelled. In walked the most beautiful woman Jake had ever seen. She had long, brown hair that flowed down her back. She had light blue eyes that shone like the sun. Sarah stood straight and tall, and gave the impression that she was much older than she really was. "Erm.Hi. I'm Jake." Jake said. "Sarah." The girl replied, her voice smooth as silk. Jake nodded. " Well, now that you to have gotten to know each other, be off! Time is gold!" The king said. " Thank you , my lord." Rails said, and the three exited the room.
Jake and his partners walked out of the castle. At the foot of the entrance, 4 horses awaited them. "Why 4 horses?" Jake asked. "We need a city official to get us past the checkpoints on the way there." Rals said. As if on cue, a man creeped out of the shadows. "Hello, I'm Danzo, your guide for this trip."The man said. "Hello Danzo." Rals said. Jake and the others got on the horses, and began riding east. "Sooo....Sarah. What do you think about rangers?" Jake tried. "What?" Sarah said "N-nothing." Jake said quickly. Sarah looked at him oddly , then continued to ride.
They continued to ride for hours, passing checkpoints as they went , at which Danzo would show an official seal, allowing them to pass. When they finally reached the city , they could hear shouts of rebellion coming from the city. "This is your stop."Danzo said grimly. "Thank you for your help." Rals said, and gave him a tip. "My pleasure." He said , looking in the general direction of Sarah, and he left. At the city gates, a man awaited them . He was muscular, tall, and very handsome. He looked around the age of Jake, and was a tad taller than him. "Who are you?" Jake asked. "I'm Aaron, and this is a message from the king."The man said , handing him a letter. The letter said: Hello travelers, if you are reading this, that means you have reached the city safely, and you have met my great grandson Aaron. I believe you will find him a great aid in combat, and in your general survival. P.Son't get him mad. -The king Jake nodded and handed the letter to Rals. He nodded also. "Well Aaron, we look forward to having you accompany us." Rals said.
"Come with me."Aaron said. The group did as told and followed the man, and he led them through the city.It was terrible. Blood splattered on the floor, and dead bodies laid on the floor, with small insects crawling over them. A man leaned against a wall, hid insides laying on his stomach. "KILL ME, PLEASE!" He screamed. Aaron walked up to the man, and slit his throat with a knife. "Come inside."Aaron said grimly, gesturing towards a small shack. The building was cramped and cold, but served as a nice temporary shelter. Maps and battle plans lay on the table. "The rebels are not going to stop what they're doing, and you saw what was happening out there. We need to stop them, and I think I've come up with a plan." Said Aaron. "Whats the plan?"Jake asked. "We kill the city leader , Kaleroth."Aaron said with a grin. "What the hell do you mean, kill the city leader!?"Sarah yelled.
"Ok Sarah, keep your bra on, unless you wan-" Sarah slapped Aaron across the face. "Get back to the point!"She said "If we kill the city leader, the rebels would go crazy right? There would be lots of confusion, which would give us time to deliver a heavy blow. Then, we put the rightful heir to the city on the throne, and everyones happy." Aaron explained The 3 others sat and thought about it for a while. "Well I'm in." Jake said. "Wonderful!Anyone else?" Aaron replied. "I guess I'll help." Sarah said. "And I cant really leave you guys alone, so I'll go to." Rals said. "Great!Now go get some rest, there's 2 beds and some blankets in the back." The 3 headed to back of the room. There were 2 beds, and some very old blankets lain on them. "How are we going to sleep?" Jake asked. "You and Sarah in one bed, and I in the other." Rals said. "Erm, ok." Jake replied. After a while, Sarah and Jake got themselves in a position where they could sleep well without being to close to eachother. Jake couldn't sleep at all, and he could tell Sarah was awake also. So he decided to try and start a conversation. "Sarah? Are you awake?" Jake asked. "Yes." Sarah replied. "So...how'd you end up on this mission.?"Jake asked "It's a long story, are you sure you want to hear it?" Sarah replied.
