I watched as the man I had loved for many years walk onto the stage. My heart raced and my face grew hot. "Are you okay?" asked a classmate. I looked at her. "Yes. I am fine," I said quietly. "I'm Leigh-Ann by the way," I said. "I'm Jessica Lawrey. It's very nice to meet you." "Same," I said smiling and I turned back to the stage. I was so close to him... Second row... I wanted to cry of happiness. I was finally able to see him again. After the performance he stood up and bowed. He took the microphone and looked at the audience. "As most of you know, I am Ian Ingram. I am happy to say that I was pleased to be able to perform for you this morning." I smiled. I hoped he might see me... My heart was somehow hurting. Suddenly his eyes made their way to meet mine and I blushed. He raised his eyebrow before looking away. "He looked at me... he really looked... at me." "Hmm? Who did?" asked Jessica. I blushed. I quickly turned my head to look at him. His eyes met mine once again, but as soon as they did he immediately turned away which made me blush even more. Jessica giggled. "Heehee, you're so cute Leigh-Ann! Do you have a crush on Mr.Ingram?" "What?! N-no!" I said. She smirked. "Is that so?" "It... it's true! I have no feelings for such a man... he's much older than me!
