I help Lily to a corner, and run off, trampling every dead body I see. "There's nothing to be afraid of!" I grin at Krysie, Kyle and Samantha. My heart flutters when I look at Samantha. What's wrong with me? I think. I turn and run off, blushing. I trip over a dead body and scrape my palms. "Shoot." I mutter.

 

Miranda: My face white, I speak up. "I-is she d-dead?"
