I lived like a zombie. I went to school, did what i had to do and back home. I didnt go out with friends or talked to anyone much. I hAd constant dreams of him. Him. I prohibited myself to say his name outloud, it was too painful. He had loved me. He gave me everything to make me happy. Why would he just leave? I started thinking back and realized that he had been acting weird the last few weeks before he left me. He kept trying to be closer to me than ever and he would remind me how much he loved me often. He said that if ever something was to happen to him that i should know he loved me. He looked nervous, and desperate. I then realized Daniel had knew he had to leave. It was as if he had to run away from something. But why would anyone run away from something so all of the sudden? I mean, Daniel wasnt that type of guy.... Oh my God. I really didnt know Daniel well at all. He never told me anything much about him. Everytime i asked him what happened to his parents he would say he didnt know them and then quickly change the subject. All the family i knew he had was Patch. That's it. This wild thought began forming in my head. What if Daniel had ran away from something, or someone? Where wAs his now? Was he even okay? I quickly got up off my bed and looked at my self in the mirror. I mean, really look at my self. Two brown eyes stared back at me with huge dark circles under them. A pale face with nothing special about it. Two skinny legs and long brown hair. And that's it, nothing. Had Daniel really loved me? And if so, did he not trust me enough to tell me what was happening. Could he even have told me anything about his past? Or was he forbidden to speak about it? As i stared into my reflection, i knew what i had to do. I had to find him. I called his phone but wasted my time because it was off. I didnt even know Patch's number. But i knew someone who did. Next morning i asked Juan to pretty pretty please, give me Charlie's home adress. He hesitated at first and the Said okay but he had to come along. I said fine. When i pulled in front of her house, i began feeling something i hadnt felt in months. Hope. Before i started walking towars her front steps, Juan took me by my wrist. " Ale, please dont get your hopes up. I'd hate to see you down again" he said with worried eyes. " Dont worry, i'll be fine" i said, and took my arm away from him and began walking towards the house. I knocked And waited. After a while, a girl that looked sixteen with red hair and blue eyes opened the door. She wore a graphic tee and torn skinny jeans with black DC shoes. Charlie. She was furiously chewing gum. She looked At me long and hard before saying anything. " What do you want?" she asked rudely. " To talk to you. Can i come in?" i asked politely. She gAve me and Juan a suspicious stare before opening the door to allow us in. Inside she told us to take a seat and to make ourselves at home. " i like your house" i said stupidly. " Me and you arent friends so dont pretend to be. I know why you are here, and i hAve only one thing to tell you. You have wasted your time by coming here. I do not know where Daniel hides" she said with an angry look in her face. " Hides? Daniel doesnt hide. What makes you say that?" i demanded. " You know very little, poor girl. You know nothing of the Wiggins family and much less how dangerous they are to us" she said flatly. " Dangerous? How can they be dangerous? Why wont you say more than that! Are you saying this just because you're still mad Patch left you? Huh! You have no right to talk about Daniel this way!" i yelled. " PAtch! Patch was nothing but a little game. I never had anything with him. So you watch yourself poor girl. Those two are dAngerous and if they left was to protect you from the evil they brought here. I cant tell you more than that. I do not know where they reside much less if they are ever coming back" she said with a final tone in her voice. At that Juan got up from the couch and grabbed me by my arm and pulled me towards the door and in the car. I was speechless i didnt know what to think. Juan drove to my apartment and helped me up the stairs and into my room. He waited until i cried myself to sleep. He waited all night long. He waited until i stopped crying and fell asleep. He waited all along with me. He waited for so long, that next morning when i woke up, Juan was still sitting in the same chair he had been sitting the night before. " Juan, wake up" i said sitting down in front of him. " oh, you're awake" he said with a smile in his face. " Thank you for staying with me. You are the best" i said and gave him a kiss on the cheek. And he sighed. " what is it?" i asked. " you dont understand what i would do for you Ale. You are not understanding everything i am willing to do for you. I am capable of doing anything for you. And you seemed surprise to find me here with you" he said with a sad look in his face " Juan, i know you're always here for me. I just wanted to say thanks, i'm not surprised, i'm just apreciative" i explained. " I would give anything up for you. Anything. You're my all. My angel and for me you come first that any other thing in the world. I would never leave you" at that point i was a the verge of tears because i knew he was referring to Daniel leaving me. " I love you" i said and got up to hug him. He got up also from his chair and hugged me back tightly. It felt right, his arms and his smell. " I love you more" he said and grabbed my face and kissed me. He kissed me for the first time. He kissed me with all he had . With every emotion ever felt. He kissed me through tears, he kissed me with so much love. And i kissed back. I kissed back because i loved him. I kissed back because i was lonely and heart broken and he was the only thing i had. I kissed him because, well, just because it felt good. But it was over too soon. He pulled back and smiled. " That's all you had to do," he said grinning.
Next morning i decided to stay home again. I didnt let Juan know i was going to be staying because he'd want to come and right now i just needed my space. Last night after the incident i told Juan to please leave and he just kept saying that what we did wasnt wrong, that we loved each other. I was just laying down on my bed when i started getting hungry. I got up off bed and went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I was just getting Into the kitchen when i heard footsteps coming from my bedroom. I quickly went into the bathroom which was right in front of the kitchen and slipped in the bath tub and close the courtain. The footsteps were getting closer now. They sounded heavy as if of a man. And the person was trying to make as least noise as possible. I began crying softly. Then i heard the person speak. It was a guy. He was saying something. My name. " Ale.." his voice made my heart skip a beAt and i began crying even more. His voice was all i needed to hear to know that i was safe. I ran out of the bathroom and found him standing in the middle of the kitchen. His back was to me. His hair had grown out and he was so much taller and buffer. He was gorgeous even from the back. Daniel. " You came," i whispered. He turned around and gave two huge steps towards me and kissed me. The kiss was the best thing that's ever happen. His lips were so soft against mine and his fingers kept tracing the back of my neck, which send chills down my spine. I could have lost my self in his arms and in his kiss. I began wishing this moment could last an eternity. But Daniel pulled back and stared into my eyes. " I'm glad you're okay," was all he said. " You're glad im okay? Do i look okay to you? You left me without saying bye and now you're JUST glad im okay?" i yelled for all the time i had been alone. " Ale you dont know what it's been like out there without you. I missed you so much and i could have killed for this kiss," he said apogetically. " Out there? Where were you, huh, Daniel? WHERE were you!!" i screamed loud. " i cant explain now. I dont have too much time before they get here. We have to leave now," " they? Who's they? Daniel in what kind of sh*t have you gotten yourself into?" " Ale let's go now!!" as soon as he said that two dark figures appear by the door way. They were all masked up and they were scaring me. Daniel grabbed me by my wrist and then everything went black...
I woke up in a weird room. It was dimly lit and had no funiture but a night table. My head hurt and i was so confused, i couldnt remember what happened. Everything was spinning and my eyes couldnt focus right. Someone came in the room and crouched beside me. " Oh good. The princess is awake," that voice was awfully familiar. " Patch, knock it off and get out," that was Daniel. Patch made a disgusting noise and got up to leave. " Ale you're awake," he said worried " I'm glad you noticed. Daniel, what the hell is going on?" i demanded. He sighed and his eyes becAme sad, " is a lot to explain" he said. " Well i have time. And you better start by telling me how the hell i got here," i said, demaning him to tell me. " well i knocked you out so you wouldnt feel the pain people usually get in getting here, and those two people back at your apartment were after me," " why were they after you?" i asked surprised Daniel waited a long time and then he looked into my eyes and said, " to kill me". There was a long pause and tears ran down my cheeks. Daniel hugged me tightly and said that everything was going to be okay. A long time passed by before i said anything. " What did you do?" i asked, still crying. " Huh?" Daniel looked confused " What did you do! You must have done something to piss those guys off ! What did you do Daniel?!" i yelled. "Ale, it's not easy expalining it. You should probably get something to eat, it takes a lot of energy to get to this place," he said " What is this place?" i asked curiously " This is my... sanctuary" he said insecurely " Daniel, you said that you knocked me out before coming here because i would feel pain if i wasnt knocked out. What was that about?" i asked remembering what he had said before. Daniel's eyes narrowed a little bit and then he let go of me and walked out of the room leaving me behind with a lot of questions that still had to be answered.
I still felt dizzy so instead of following him out of the room i decided to stay and rest for a while. As soon as i layed my head on the pillow i was inmmedeatly Asleep. I fell into a deep dream... I was running. I dont remember why i started running but i knew i was running from something, or someone. I was in a dark forest and i didnt know how i got there. My legs ached from running and my heart was pounding against my chest ,but i wouldnt stop running. I was just about to stop when i bumped into something and fell face first on the cold ground. My eyes fell to the thing on the ground. I gasped loudly, this couldnt be possible. There, laying on the ground was A guy. He was only weAring sweatpants. He had no shirt or shoes on. This guy had brown hair and a great body. But the thing that made me gasp and that had Me at the verge of tears wasnt any of that. The guy had something coming out of his back. Big and beautiful, they unfurled From his back and covered most of the ground around him. They were huge and black with gold on the edges. I reached to touch them. No, it couldnt be. Wings? This guy was an angel
