Lot of people think the breed is just "pitbull" and don't realize that's just a describer for several different breeds! That's why I emphasized looking at incl. the full name of the breeds.
it’s not that bad at times!! although we do have a lot of homeless people foot traffic and there is one in particular that smells rancid. luckily our library is located by a good number of shelters. ours is pretty clean & large but no doubt the possibilities.
It's really a great thing to see kids feeling inspired when they find a book or magazine that really grabs their interest.
When I was reallyyyyy little, my parents would sometimes take me to the local library to get books. I would only check out their copy of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs though. That was the only book I ever wanted from there. Idk why my parents never just bought me a version of the book for myself
Well, I appreciate what you do. I am a neat freak and would turn full hypochondriac if I worked in that kind of industry
It's a children's book and is quite different from the movie besides the fact that it starts raining food and they end up sailing away on a big food boat. But the movie is adorable in its own right
it is! we have so many kids programs and such, children get so excited when they get their books. esp when they get to use the self checkout stations. we have a huge childrens section.
Now I challenge you all to go to your local library, get a library card if you haven't already, and check out the book version of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs asap. Wednesday, u should do it for your pimd book club. U guys can discuss the movie vs book or something.
Tbh only like 4 ppl aside from me have bothered to start the book as far as I am aware. Book club idea is a flop. I will read it in my own time doe.
Yes! I used to volunteer a lot, to show kids that there's more than just being on your phone or tablet. At the end of the summer programs we would always do like a picnic and they would thank us for everything.. it felt really good. ?
Here aw at least u tried. ya know, i was in a book club w/ a few friends from middle school until we graduated high school. altho instead of having a book we all read together and discussed, we would all bring a book we read that we especially enjoyed and recommend it to the others to read if it sparked their interest. a lot of us did end up eventually reading books that the others suggested. it was a cool take on a book club
I intend to continue ? I meant the cloudy book I shall read in my own time. Unless you guys wanted to do that
rlly?? that’s so nice! summer programs are fun. i don’t get to help much bc i’m always on the desk. ( nonetheless it’s a lot of fun.
