  2. I could understand this being useful for people who aren't native English speakers. But is it really useful on here?
     
  3. You have no idea how useful it is here. There are plenty of native English speakers who simply don't know the correct pronunciation of these words. It all relates to how often people are exposed to words like these, not so much what language they learned first.
     
  4. 'Ask' and 'niche' are ALWAYS mispronounced by native English speakers.

  6. I hate it when people pronounce the word crayon like crayan. And the library one??

  8. So is it win-try as in "Let me try that sushi." Or win-tree as in "That's a nice big tree."
     
  9.  different accents cause people to grow up learning different pronunciations though.. As long as you know what word they mean does it matter that much? Kinda skipped em all but nice thread i guess?
