They don't have an Australian day because all that is, is a day to get wasted. 4th of July is an actual event in the history time line "Independence Day" Independence Day is in school history books. Oh yeah and... Merica!
I actually plan on watching the Germany game on July 4th with my bf (who is in the Navy and actually has the day off because it is Independence Day) or maybe going to six flags.....not sure yet
I don't drink either, a lot of people celebrate with parades and see family and have fireworks (hopefully not illegal cuz I'm scared this whole area will burn down ?), and food and other stuff, you can't say for the whole country cuz 1. Apparently you don't even celebrate it and 2. Even if you did live here you wouldn't know what the whole country does especially not if you're ignoring the holiday but yeah, I don't celebrate Chinese New Year, but I still collected fishies (fish cakes), and I had fun, instead of complaining so much calm down and try to ask them to do something for whatever you celebrate instead of trying to get rid of stuff. They can still do more, you're acting like it's the end of the world and they're never gonna do anything ever again after that.
Well they don't do anything for my particular country either but honestly if I don't like a particular hunt I just don't participate. I doubt the devs can pin point every single event that goes on in every single part of the world, I do hunts for fun I don't think they mean to single out any particular country :/ If you don't want to participate that's fine but I don't think there's anything wrong with them having or not having an event for July 4th, if it happens I'll participate if I can if it doesn't then I'm sure they'll come up with something else
Now,I'm not sure about this but I read it in a history book somewhere. America gaining independence showed the world it was POSSIBLE to gain it,and caused many countries to gain their independence.
