As was mentioned, the forum really did not change. The issue is how hypocritical, and judgmental everyone has been towards threads. You say forums were the "best" then, which was also asked, what made them better? Not a damn thing. The difference is, some were from a known "forumer", or made by just a "known" player in general that so many joined the bandwagon. A "known" forumer could make a thread and everyone "enjoys" it or thinks it's great, yet a not so known person could make the exact same one and they get bashed, saying it's pointless, along with many others things, while once again people join the bandwagon to diss the thread or OP. The forum won't change until the people do and grow up.
Forums suck now because of these 3 main reasons: -people make stupid pointless posts that have no interest at all -forum posts are enforced differently, causing the 'good' ones to be deleted or locked -it's always the same annoying people posting, seeking attention Ain't nobody got time for that
90% of everything posted on every forum on the internet is trash. Pimd is no exception. This wasn't some throwback to the internets golden age a couple years ago that just went to hell. And there's always someone who claims that forums were better "in the old days". Its called nostalgia.
Well forums have turned to trash . The aren't as good as 2011 or the beginning of 2012... To many post the most dumbest of the dumb threads or want to be trolls. That's why over time I quitted the game and came back like 4 months later to see if the game got any better. It just has more pervs who can't get a real life and there are probably 69 yr. old men who want it , out there. So probably PIMD will just get worst an when that happens the forums will suck and just be filled with pervs and dumbies.
Forums have been the same since 2011 when I started, not a single difference except for some new people like Jenni mentioned.
Just wanna say, forums now are sucking really bad. Last year, it was an escape from world chat and you would read whatever interested while you were waiting to regenerate your energy. But looking at forums now, we have "Rent-a-husband/wife", cuddle buddy's, adoptions and endless useless posts. This is getting ridiculous. .-. If it's not already ridiculous, that is.
Anyone who's claiming there's no difference now and in the past obviously hasn't been here long enough.
Forums are trash. When I joined PiMD they where actually a place without random bullshit and "apology threads" every 5 minutes. And referring to post on first page I always fought with Chloe
I remember Adelyns "Off Topic" thread because it was locked. That had like over 300 pages. That was pretty awesome.
