Well you are entirely right SirJoe. I also know for a fact that the Aztecs or the Mayans have 'PREDICTED' it will happen. Now if I refer back to recent acts over the few years it was 'PREDICTED' that our world will come to an end in 2005. There was also another 'PREDICTION' last year, near the middle of the year that our world would of ended. Our last recent predictions were a redhearing to all our people of the work who believed. Now the reason I refer to this is because it says the 'Mayan Period' so only one could assume that it was the ending period for the period of the Mayans'! I could not possibly be Earth. The only way our Earth will end is by our Sun having a Supa-Nova/Exploding but it would not be possible as our Sun has been a great big star for us for billions/trillions of years. Now this is not just the end of my theory, as in fact, I may have reconciled thousand's of years of theological disparity. Yet that shall be for another time.
