i am begging yall to STOP RERELEASING AVIS. i'm one of the people who wasn't around for the OG BF avi bags and sure it's cool to get them now but it makes them completely worthless for everyone who was here during the first release. someone said avi exclusivity is dying & it's true. what's the point in being an OG player if you have nothing to show for it?
OG players still get so much more to show that they are OGs. Avatar bags do not change much in that regard, when they have aaaaall the other avatars from other hunts that were there. And honestly, somebody else having an avatar that I got years ago does not take away anything from my satisfaction when I first got it.
Glad I was able to get the avatar bags but don’t think I’ll ever spend the ec for all of them, should’ve released new ones
This is valid!! everyone's allowed to feel differently about it. i just know some people who do feel otherwise. like i said, i'm personally glad i got to buy the older bf bag of the two cuz i wasn't around for that. it's nice! but ik a lot of people wish we would just get new original content instead of rereleases that end up dropping the value/exclusivity of those avis when they first came out

They've been rereleasing avis like crazy 😪😪 I get it if they're running out of content, but not changing a single thing about the avi & then rereleasing it is wild 😭😭 Rereleases should have slight differences otherwise it completely ruins "exclusivity". It can sound dumb & elitist, but exclusivity does greatly contribute to the value of certain things. Like... if gold wasn't "rare" and finite, no one would gaf about it. Plennnty of other games re-release skins too, but they're almost always re-skins, meaning the original stays what it is—the original. Meanwhile people who missed it the first time can pick it up with a new color way or add-on, and it won't make old loyal players feel cheated.

I totally get this! But there's a reason why other games do re-skins when they re-release content. It's just not customary to take away that sense of "rarity" from older players. I'm just saying this as someone that actually owned these avatars & avi bags before they were re-released. There was a lot of backlash in forums from players when ATA re-released skins before, so I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way.

i could understand if they rereleased the avis and made them cheaper, but they're literally the same price as they were before. what's the point in trying to gatekeep avatars? you're basically saying that just bc you had them first, nobody who joined the game later deserves to have them. that's such a selfish mindset to have. there are plenty of good avis that probably won't ever get a rerelease, but you're mad bc newer players wanted a chance to get these specific avis that were really popular? let me remind you that this is just a game at the end of the day 😂
It's not just these specific ones 💀 They've re-released hunt box avatars & hunt drop avatars for ecs before too.. Which completely f*cks with the ppl that spent tons of keys & bought said hunt boxes, trying to get the avi someone else can buy for like 200ecs. They've also released hunt drop avis for ecs too, which is debatable on how "fair" it is, but others had to actually play the hunt to get them before, while ATA re-releases it for 99-200ecs or so. So why bother naming most of their content "limited-time content" if they're just gonna re-release it for ecs lmfao And again, I'm not saying no one deserves to have the skin they want. I don't know where you got that idea from. Let me refresh my main point and note. ATA has released reskins before, like other games, and no one had an issue with it. So why not just stick with that? But, like you said, it's just a game. So why try so hard to disagree with what others are voicing? I think it's a completely understandable annoyance. I don't get what you don't get 😂

Yeah, whether you agree or not, whether you're just happy to be able to get the avis for yourself or not, this is 100% true. & it really just takes one look at the first page of replies (& their likes) on this post to understand that many other people feel the same way. you're allowed to disagree but calling it selfish n dramatic is silly lol relax
it just feels like all of my work and attention paid to a game for years has suddenly lost value. part of the exclusivity of these avatars was that you had to be playing when they were released, and I definitely felt more drive to be more active when there was content I thought I would never be able to obtain again. to see it re-released years later just kind of hits you with an oof I definitely don't play this game with the same level of dedication I once did due to this devaluation.
I still remember the first time they brought back a bunch of old avis 😭 Lots of complaints. Someone opened 1k+ boxes for the crypt box avi, they rereleased it for 200 ec 💀 which is just wild But there were also plenty of ppl who were happy about the avis being re-released, I bought one myself too. But also no one advocated against people advocating for reskins lmao I think it's a justified suggestion at the end of day
