CURRENT EVENT 🌈 Party for Pride 2026 🌈

  1. ATA is hilarious, I just wish I could find it in me to laugh.

  2. Basically, for those who missed what’s going on:

ATA sends a response in help chat to one of the forumers here: “the issue has now been fully resolved and we finished compensating all affected players”.

Then replies to another forumer in help chat with “
Because this was a correction of unintended functionality rather than a planned feature change, we are not able to provide compensation related to resources that players expected to obtain through recycling these items.”

    and that’s the tea ☕️🔥

  3. Tbh, ATA’s responses are as confusing and backtracking and self-conflicting as their pride furni release.

    1. Releases the pride poster as recyclable and only chooses to switch it up to nonrecyclable a few days AFTER 499 and 199 are released.

    2. Tells a player in help chat, saying everyone who was affected has now been compensated, while telling another player that they are unable to provide compensation for those affected.

It’s exactly this kind of behaviour that induces our losses. Reckless and negligent and unwilling to admit mistakes, let alone fix them.

  4. ATA, right now, we don’t care whether you have plans to fix it for the next pride release. It’s not any consolation to us when you tell us that you do. We care that you fix the mistake of THIS one. Make it right, make 2026 pride furni recyclable again.

Even just making it untradeable and recyclable as a hotfix would make everyone happy. I don’t see why such a simple fix is so hard for ATA to concede on. They encourage people to post feedback on forums, but after reading everyone’s comments over the past few days since the change and seeing zero change nor accountability on ATA’s part, I guess players really don’t matter to them after all.

  5. Seeing zero remedy* on ATA’s part

  6. I understand the intention behind treating this as a learning experience, but the current situation feels less like a player mistake and more like an unintended limitation that wasn’t obvious beforehand.

At the moment I’m holding 166 Memories from a single furniture item out of the 499 that were purchased. Had I known there was a restriction that would make such a large portion of these items unusable, I would have made a different decision before investing so heavily into them.

I’m not asking for special treatment, only for some consideration of whether there is a reasonable solution available. Even if it’s a one-time exception, a conversion option, or an adjustment to the current limit, any remedy would help address what appears to be an oversight rather than simply leaving a large amount of purchased content unusable.

I completely understand if changes cannot be made immediately, but I’d appreciate the team taking another look at the situation. The current outcome feels disproportionately punishing given the scale involved.

  7. 166 “Memories” 🤣 yes, we’re so lucky they allowed us to keep them for the memories 😭

and ATA, if you’re reading, I didn’t mean to rant. Just doesn’t feel like our frustrations are truly felt by the devs, even though help chat claims it is.

I think the whole ordeal, and all the player reactions, just shows how sincere the majority of PIMD players are in playing the game. We all want to grow, and enjoy the game in the long run. Just wish ATA could reciprocate such sincerity and help us out this one time, since the mistake was by the devs.

  8. What kind of bull is that. Memories of them scamming us?

  9. Are all the parties supposed to drop rainbow leis? I haven’t seen one yet but the points are all met for the awards.

  10. Yes, any party that is successfully completed will drop a rainbow lei.

  11. @yonder7 After peeping your profile, you likely haven't completed the tutorial tasks in the cell-phone and therefore cannot participate in XCs yet.

  12. Devs, if anyone is reading this thread, you have successfully made another paying customer lose interest in your systems entirely, and hence i would not be partaking in further spends in the game. The cash which i earmarked to be spent during this upcoming promo is successfully diverted and spent on other gaming platform. Other players who have been aggrieved with your one sided consumer harming decision will be doing their parts too.

  13. I'm also so disappointed because when the event was released, the furniture items were recyclable. Based on that functionality, many players, including myself and my friends, spent a significant amount of Bentos to collect these furniture items in bulk. We made those purchases because we believed recycling them was an intended feature.

Now, after the event has been available for over a month, the furniture has suddenly been changed to non-recyclable, with the explanation that recyclability was an "unintended functionality." This change is frustrating because the feature remained unchanged throughout the event, giving players every reason to believe it was intentional.

If this was truly a mistake, it would have been much fairer to correct it earlier in the event, before so many players invested their resources based on the existing functionality. Changing it only after players had already spent their Bentos feels unfair, especially since many of us now have large quantities of furniture that no longer serve the purpose we purchased them for.

What makes this even more disappointing is that there has been no compensation or acknowledgment for the resources players spent because of this change. I respectfully ask the ATA team to reconsider this decision or provide appropriate compensation to those who were affected.

Let's just hope ATA team read these feedbacks and do something on this matter. I would appreciate if any compensation is made lol though have very lil faith remained now.

  14. this isn't really a 'hotfix' nor is it truly, as you say, 'balanced and fair'.

many players prefer to recycle furniture to upgrade the furniture they actually care about. the pride 2026 furniture is useless now....

likewise all the other furniture from previous events that can't be recycled are useless and clutter showcases...

if your goal is to crack down on alt abuse and fools using item duplication bots etc.. and keep things fair, i suggest making them non-tradable + limit 1. this will prevent repeat offenders from bulk selling community event reward furniture and ruining it for everyone else.

i have at least four furniture pieces i'd love to recycle right now, but, alas, the way things are currently, it's impossible. 🙁

i hope the team can fix the pride 2026 furniture and allow players to recycle what they don't want. it would also be greatly appreciated if the team would consider going through past community event furniture that can't be recycled, and permit players to recycle or upgrade at our discretion.

and of course anyone with a ridiculous amount of the community pride furniture should have their stack automatically become 1 with the limit 1 feature implemented. so regardless if they bought bulk furniture from someone else and they didn't "break TOU", they have indirectly/directly contributed to alt abusers making a profit and ruining game play for the rest of us. this is more than fair going forward instead of making everything non-recyclable. (this point i'm making is unrelated to getting bulk furniture organically from opening hunt boxes, VIP boxes, social boxes or buying token store & Molly furniture etc.. and is exclusive to community event furniture)

btw, can y'all do NEW exciting items for these community events? respectfully, i don't believe many want old furniture, or stats that look like old furniture, with the current year slapped on its name. it's not fun or new. it's also not new if it's recolored. it feels lazy and it devalues items. someone with the original item might struggle to sell because thousands of players just got a version of it just for hitting a few parties. One of the Devs (can't remember which) also said in a previous Forum post the team would stop bringing back old items too often, so it feels weird that it continues to happen... 😕

  15. Cancelling my gold sub too, til further notice. Thought the purpose of these events was to give back to the community, not rob us. Bad practice, ATA.
