  1. Ahh.

I've seen on like, posts on different sites and things about how Chick-Fil-A was against gays and blah blah blah.

  2. Ya, it's a big day

  3. Hermes is exactly correct. It's not like Chick-Fil-A is running an "Anti-Gay" campaign or anything of the sort. And the owner himself wasn't even gay bashing..... He just expressed that he believes in marriage only as it's supposed to be according to the bible.

So then that caused a HUGE uproar and now people(the left and the GLBT community) think Chick-Fil-A as a whole should be banned everywhere and they are protesting the crap out of it. They've even organized "kiss the same sex day" to be brought to the insides of Chick-Fil-A restaurants. To me, that's a lil far and rediculous.

Gay, straight, hermaphrodite, or French..... None of it bothers or confronts me but all this over one guys personal view is a bit much. His beliefs I can assure you are not shared by the thousands employed by Chick-Fil-A.

If ppl don't agree with his views that much, I've got a simple solution: Don't eat there.

But whatever the owner's personal views are, I don't care cause waffle fries rule!

  4. I still have no idea what this is.  This is only American, right? Just like Tim Horton's is Canadian? Actually scratch that. I don't know if Timmie's reaches out to other parts if the world. 

  5. The owner was in fact "gay bashing". He went on and on hating them.

  6. It didn't work because mitt Romney made today chik-fil-a appreciation day where all the ignorant people and hypocrites can rejoice and discuss how you can't love who you want because of a fairy tale. Please note that I use "the bible" and "a fairy tale" interchangeably.

But I'm not going to make a difference. So I shall continue eating their delicious chicken and waffle fries.

  7. Actually Mike Huckabee did, not Mitt Romney.

it doesn't matter if he agrees with it or not. The point is that the democrats in the certain areas haven't right to deny chick-fil-a the right to open stores uncertain areas based on the owners view. That's the debate at this moment.

  8. Sorry... I meant to say liberals, not democrats. Sorry.

  9. Do not have the right*

  10. I have no problem with same sex marriage. I think everyone should be able to love who they want to love. I have plenty of homosexual friends.

But, I will not stop eating there. That is just ridiculous.

  11. Ahh yes mitt huckabee. Apologies. I don't believe that's the argument going on though...

  12. Why do you have to be democratic to realize there's nothing wrong with same sex marriage? "the democrats" is a giant generalization. You don't have to be democratic to be for same sex marriage.

  13. Uhh... Not mitt Huckabee, MIKE Huckabee. Lol and I didn't say that the democrats only believe that. I said the democrats in certai areas are trying to stop the company from going there.
Mayors of Chicago and Boston for example. Both democrats.and there are a couple others.... All democrats.
I was not trying to be political, just stating a fact.

  14. No one said democrats are the only ones for same sex marriage. You're the one that said mitt Romney, mike huckabee and the chain owner being a conservative, are the only against same sex marriage, hence implying that the opposite being liberals for samesex marriage is the main view in politics.

The point is, the chain owner personally is not for same sex marriage.. Thats his opinion and his right to have that view regardless where it's based from and the fact that he has a respectable and profitable restaurant chain should not be affected by his personal views. 
And for people to say that because he doesn't agree with their views, his restaurant chain should be banned from certain cities violates his freedom of speech and is as ridiculous as people banning blacks from restaurants and hotels during the civil rights march because they stood up for their views and beliefs.
that is the real problem right there

  15. That's true miss. That's kinda what I was trying to convey, but I got extremely annoyed with the iPad forum glitch.

  16. Why were people protesting there anyways ?

  17. To the contrary, I don't think it is your right to have that opinion. Being anti-blacks is racism and considered racial harassment or segregating or something... So what's the difference? People aren't allowed to make stands again interracial marriage without catching a ton of hate for their beliefs, and possibly being arrested for going against their rights. So again I'll say, what's the difference? It's a huge double standard.

  18. They weren't protesting I don't believe. I think it was more of an appreciation for people who agreed with the owners beliefs. I don't blame chik-fil-a though, they didn't want any part in this day.
