I honestly am not full of myself at all, but when I am right, and know damn well I am, I will fight my case to prove I am. My family and friends get tired of it, because very rarely am I wrong about something. However, when I am wrong, I fully admit it, own up to it, and acknowledge when I am. If I ever decide to name change, I'll use JussiveJenni . That may never happen though, hasn't in two and a half years or however long it's been, so don't plan on it any time soon.
That's how my family is. I instantly win all arguments because they hate arguing with me cause when I know I'm right I don't stop please do it. Or when you fry someone's dumbass in forums use that hashtag at the end
I don't ever instantly win. My family is very competitive and a lot of them are the type that they need to be right, so they get so mad at me. They will start to argue, and then say something like "damnit why do I bother, can I ever be right?" . Some of them have learned, and don't bother anymore. if I remember, I'll start doing it just for you. I'm sure there will be someone else again soon, since way too many have a stick up their ass, and speak out of it too.
Gem, you didn't have the facts either. You said stuff about how McDonalds prices will increase without you knowing the facts either  so you made a mistake as well.
You do realize by raising minimum wage it has to raise the price of something? It doesn't just come out of thin air. So if it raises you'll probably be paying $3 more for a hamburger.
The President can't unilaterally raise the minimum wage without an act of Congress. So far, all the House wants to do is legislate over womens' bodies and repeal the ACA. It appears to me that one political party in this country is actively interested in trying to assist in creating jobs and improving the quality of life. The other party thinks that shrinking the budget, cutting taxes for the wealthiest and deregulating industry is the only answer. Ask Tennessee how deregulation is working for them. Or West Virginia. Both of those states literally have hundreds of thousands of citizens without potable water because they gave carte blanche to the goal and gas industry to frack and strip mine. Ask California how the deregulated energy market treated them. Ask the states around the Gulf of Mexico how unregulated deep water drilling worked for them. Of course the only answer I will ever get is that if only we cut more taxes and shrank more government and deregulated more, then it would work. It's a closed rigid ideological catastrophe that is destroying the country. A kind of persistent madness that resembles the howling of the damned.
Ireland, I have a question for you: Wages have not increased with the rate of inflation or the cost of living for over 40 years. Yet the cost of goods rises continuously. How and why does this happen? What other factors besides wages may contribute? I'll give you a hint: the answer is found in The Wealth of Nations.
Lets say min wage goes up to 10.10, imagine how much a loaf of bread is gonna go up. What some people dont understand is, yes min wage goes up but so does everything else :-(
And how can someone on here say "your opinion is wrong" no ones opinion is ever wrong, thats why they call it an opinion
Everyone has a right to their own opinion. ?There's no need to bash on them for thinking what they want to think. There's also no need to bash on the president. It's not as if you doing so will change anything that you believe should be changed. "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." (I believe that's how the quote goes?idk.....but yeah) Just be nice. It's not hard to do. ?
I like that politics get discussed. Yes it's a hot button issue but how else do people get educated if not from discussion and investigation?
Back in the day you could get meals for one penny. Probably a football for half a penny NOW A TV COSTS LIKE $1500!!!!
