After we got the girls a cab home, "Justin" and I went to Electricity, the new club in town. No matter how hard I tried to stop myself from having a good time, all 10 taquilas I drank didn't leave me much of a choice. Aside from the dancing, drinking, and partying, I had forgotten what had happened. When I took a peek under the covers, my eyes widened as I realized that not only was I naked, but he was as well. I tried to get off the bed, but tripped and rolled, taking the covers along with me. "UNGHHH!" I mumbled. "That was an attractive noise...", I thought aloud. I stayed on the ground, swaddled with blankets like a newborn baby. A slight warm chuckle rung in my ears. I popped my head up like a whac-a-mole, quick with eyes wild with confusion. My eyes darted towards his lower body almost automatically to see him wearing absolutely nothing and shut with the same speed. I adjust the blanket covering me, stood, turned around, and glazed my eyes over the room to find my clothes. I had to repeat this a second time before my gaze stopped at the dark brown wooden table with my strapless dark red bodycon dress, rose-gold heels, and everything that went under. I waddled across the room to the desk while cursing under my breath. Making sure all my parts were not visible to "Justin," I slipped on my clothes. To my relief, when I turned around he was dressed with a robe that was nearby, lying on the bed. "What was your name again?" I asked confidently. Trying to hide my shame was always easier. "I didn't give it," he started,"But it's Daniel, Daniel Verilli. You can call me Dan, Danny, Daniel, anything that floats your boat. Justin is just my stage name, by the way. What's yours?" He was using my bold-headed technique as well. "Karen Chatzi," I said as I prepared myself to begin the stereotypical genie speech that actually originated with us gods. This is the exact reason why I avoided interacting with human males. "I am also known as Nyx, the goddess of the night. Now that we have... slept together, I am required to give you three wishes. You may not as for more wishes, more genies, or anything of that kind. You may wish for virtually anything else, but there are other legistics in which case I will not be allowed to grant the particular wish. After this informational speech ends, you will have one hour to decide what to ask for. If you do not wish within an hour, you will forget this ever happened. In the same sense, after you have been granted all three wishes and I leave, you will forget this as well. I recommend you don't waste a wish testing the reality of this situation. That would be your loss. Wishes about love are allowed, however, be careful what you wish for." I inhaled for my lungs that begged for oxygen. Dan's reaction was more than bizarre. Unlike all the others that stared at me with thirsty eyes, he just slightly smiled like he had been waiting for me. "I can have anything I want?" Danny asked, but he already knew the answer. His eyes rolled up and his eyebrows pulled together as if he was thinking hard. "Yes," I sighed. "Virtually anything." I don't know why I was disappointed when I realized he was just as greedy as all the others had been. What was I expecting? "I wish for..... you." He said slowly as if he were telling himself this.. "I want us to fall in love with each other, for you to stay by my side, and for me not to forget that this ever happened." I stared at him bewildered. This had never happened before, but there was no rule against it. The gods had not thought that people would be stupid enough to waste their wish on invaluable knowledge.
