Chapter 6(Part 1 )•Sign ups "Gryffindors follow me!" I heard Josh shout over the crowd. We walked until we reached this giant staircase. "Watch the stairs...they like to change...bloody annoying." I heard Josh mutter the last couple words. As we were walking up the stairs a girl and boy bumped into me. "Terribly sorry my mistake." the girl said hurriedly. "Yes excuse us." the boy said. "I'm Megan Sanders and this is my brother John." the girl said. "Nice to meet you John." I said. "These is my friend Griffin and my cousin Rose." "Pleasure." Megan and John both said smiling as we continued to walk. "And I'm Albus Potter." I said. "Wicked!! I never thought I would ever meet you!!" John said in a fascinated tone. "Oh we'll thank you." I laughed. We reached a door on the seventh floor corridor and stopped. "Rat Toenails." Josh said aloud. "Excuse me?" Griffin said loudly and the group all chuckled. "That's your password for this term." Josh said glaring at Griffin while the door opened by itself. Griffin lowered his head trying not to smile as we walked into what seemed like a big family room. There was a table and two chairs by the far window. A couch with two recliner chairs next to it sat by a fireplace. And behind that was a table with 10 chairs surrounding it. "This is the Gryffindor common. Here you may chat, study, and/or relax. But why do that in the day when you have a huge castle am I right? But don't take a nap on the couch or I will transfigure you into a gerbil." Josh said firmly and the group laughed. "Your belongings are in your dorms and the older years won't be here for another 15 minutes. Sign ups are over there." he concluded.
