I wish pimd would do more charities, like the red cross one they did awhile back. Maybe for this, but anything really. I think it'd be a win-win. People who normally wouldn't spend $ would, ata gets some and whatever charity they are doing atm gets some. Ata gets a better reputation and we become a better little community. Almost made a new thread for this but I'll think I'll just post it here. I already emailed them about it, maybe you guys could too.
thats a cool idea, but id rather donate to Susan G Komen or American Cancer Society so that i know my money is actually being used for the cause.
Hmm, ms boo, you might want to read up on those charities you listed at least the first one. That's not really the best place to say this, but I had to say something.
well then dont say it here please. This is a thread honoring those who are affected. If you dont like the charities, thats fine. But please be respectful to the awareness & kindly refrain from posting any negative comments. Thank you.
I support this thread 100%. Please save my side boob. On a serious note, my sister is a survivor, so I 100% support tata research.

While I whole heartedly support a cure for breast cancer. I think all cancer victims and their families should be remembered. Though breast cancer gets a majority of the publicity, there are many different types of cancer out there. Research is crucial in finding a cure for all forms.
When I was in school, one of my classmates was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went on to have a double mastectomy and endless chemo and radiation, which caused her to have to defer her attendance for a year. Thankfully, she is cancer free today. It's so important to get checked
