  1. ^Agree.

Gozi, I see you're point of view, I seriously don't want to fight or anything, but I just wanted to state that some children are mature for their age, some are just downright not.

  2. I missed the part where somebody being older than you meant you had to fill out their every command. My fault.

  3. My only issue with this thread.... Stop flipping saying clan! That's a pet peeve. It's called clubs in pimd. Thanks. That is all.

  4. I don't want to fight either, but both sides needed to be voiced and we've accomplished that, and I never said anything about turning 18 and your an adult magically lol but in my opinion, once you turn 21 you are able to class yourself as an adult, at 18 people are still at school, going out having fun and most get part time jobs, where as at 21 you may have finished studying (unless your at university) and have had to join the workforce and get a job to earn an income to support yourself

  5. And blockey it seems everyone missed that part, considering no one said younger people have to do every command their given by someone older, jeez it's the 21st century, people aren't slave drivers, unless your parents are really bossy

  6. Or are in any meaningful workplace.

  7. Wow this thread is a mess

  8. I just had to defend myself. This thread has somehow become a bash on minors. I'm 17 years old and I've almost got my AA. I am skipping senior year to go to college. I made a 29 on my ACT and I've got multiple colleges ready to accept me when I apply. I don't exactly see how I am a detriment to the adult's playing experience. If anything, I've already gone farther than many adults have in terms of preparing for life.

  9. Damn, I got a 19 in math when I was 13...

  10. I am going to say... If I talked to my parents like most kids do today, I would have been smacked across the face.
A lot (not all) of kids are spoiled today! Man! If I asked for an iPod when I was 12 or 13 I would have been laughed at! I was happy playing outside and building things with Legos.
Most kids today do need to respect their elders! It doesn't matter if they have earned your respect or not. You are kids/teens, they are adults.

  11. .... You got your... Your Alcoholics Anonymous....?

  12. As people have said, this is a game...so why should children respect adults if they aren't respected back?

Someone clear that up please? 

  13. One good reason:

    Because they are adults

  14. Exactly. I don't care if somebody's an adult, it's how they treat people that earns then respect. Don't sit here and tell me Casey Anthony deserves respect because she's an adult.

  15. Yup

Another good reason is because they passed school without wikipedia and google!

  16. Hermes... e.e

Ya know? I don't respect my parents. They provide me with food, shelter, and clothes, but that doesn't mean they are parents.

Please. They're more providers than parents.

Elders or not, they should respect us, too.

Ever heard the saying "Respect and be respected"?

Many adults think that as soon as they have kids, that obligation disappears. Especially towards their own kids.

    ,_,

  17. I couldn't disagree more Hermes. It's nothing personal, I just don't think being born earlier makes them superior to anyone.

  18. That was meant for hermes on the "yep"

  19. Sometimes I wish I could be on a team of my own.. Kan, it doesn't work that way. They don't have to respect you in order for them to deserve your respect.

That has limits though. I may be younger than you, but if you insult or disrespect me, we are going to have problems regardless of who you are. I'm a human and I'm more than capable of defending myself.
