Bump! I'll be updating later today, in the meantime, I'll watch you guys fangirl over the story's amazingness!
Update! ???????????????? When I get back to the forest, it's still only Danny awake. I sit down next to him, and he notices my tear-streaked face. "What happened?" He asks. "I just said goodbye to my Grandmother," I reply. His beautiful smile fades and he puts an arm around me. As soon as I feel his skin against mine, a kind of energy runs through me, and I get goosebumps up and down my arms. "It'll be OK. It's for the best," he consoles me. "You don't want her to get hurt, do you?" "No... I guess not..." "Well then." He stands up and claps his hands together. "You've got a rough day, today! Liam! Shan! Get out here, we want to start!" He yells. Liam and Shannon appear from the tent almost immediately. As soon as I see her, I remember my hate. The way she paired me with Liam, probably the strongest of the five of us, as my first partner. The way she can read every thought of mine. She knows all my secrets. "Morning, Claire," says Liam. He obviously in a good mood. Shannon just walks past me without saying a word. "We've got the very thing that will trigger your Flipside-Charm," she smirks. "What we are about to do, will get you so angry, that your touch will be pretty much fatal if not treated." I wonder what she has that will make me so angry. She disappears into the trees, obviously to go and get it. The three of us stand silently, waiting. Then I realise Aishling isn't with us. She must still be asleep. "Nervous?" Liam asks me. "Hell yeah," I reply. Who wouldn't be? I'm fighting a strong boy who can disappear at will. Five minutes pass, and I can now see Shannon in the distance, walking towards us. Except, she isn't alone. It looks like her and somebody else are dragging a limp body by the arms. When they get closer, I can that's exactly what she's doing. Her and Aishling are dragging the floppy figure of a boy about my age along. I don't believe it. Aishling? She's pretty much my best friend! Why? Shannon and Aishling come to a halt in front of us and drop the body so that it lands face first. "Special delivery for Miss Wright," says Shannon. I look at the body, then up at Aishling. She looks like she's in pain. I approach the boy, and kneel beside him. For a moment, I play with his silky brown hair. I know this hair. I've touched it before. Slowly, I roll the body onto it's back, and I can see why I know it's hair. The very person who I tell everything. My best friend since a young age. My friend. My protecter. Carl. ???????????????? Some shit is going down here!So this is what makes Claire really angry: seeing her best friend like this.I'll try and update as soon as I can... In the meantime... Quiz Time! What kind of Flipside-Charm would you want to be? A Firecracker A Rapid A Veil A Channeller

I may be writing quite a bit tonight, so keep an eye out for any updates, as I may not notify you! ???????????????? I feel tears begin to form in my eyes. His skin feels so cold. He doesn't look as beautiful as he normally does. His brown hair is tangled with leaves, and a big, purple bruise is forming under his right eye. I stand up and feel a surge of anger pulse through me. My temperature is rising. Higher than it has ever gone before. I glare at Shannon through narrow eyes, and she smirks at me. Before she can react, I have pinned her against a nearby tree with my forearm across her neck. "What did you do to him?!" I shout in her face. She looks petrified. "Nothing... I... I swear!" She chokes. I let go and slam her against the tree again. "Tell the truth!" I yell. I can feel tears rolling down my cheeks, but evaporating when my skin gets extremely hot. "I..." Her face has gone purple, her body is limp as well now, and she slips from my grasp. She now lies unconscious next to Carl. I search her pockets and find a vile of purple liquid, with a bubble on the label. I round on Aishling. "What's this?" I ask, trying to calm down. "It's Bubble-Brain. It knocks a person out for twenty-four hours, and afterwards, they don't really remember much from the last month or so." She replies calmly. "And how did she know where to find Carl?" I ask. Aishling hands me my phone. "Look at the texts," I scroll through my texts. Most are from Carl. Tears start up again. I can feel my temperature going back down, but very slowly. "He... He was worried about me?" I ask Aishling. "When we went to get him, the first thing he said was: 'Where's Claire?'. I think he really is concerned about your safety." She replies. "That's because I'm a clutz," I laugh a little bit. I look through the messages again. Carl was genuinely concerned about me. Not because I'm a clutz. Because I'm his friend. And he's my friend. ???????????????? Carl comes around sooner than expected; it seems Shannon didn't give him the whole vile. He sits up and smiles when he sees me. I don't hesitate: I hug him tight. "So you remember everything?" I say, my face buried in his shoulder. "Everything." He replies. I feel him press his lips to my head, and I can't help but smile. ???????????????? The next morning, Shannon avoids me as much as possible. I'm not complaining; it's actually a good thing. We've stopped training all together, as nobody can think of a way to get me angry other than see my friends hurt. "So, if we're not training, what are we doing?" I ask Danny and Liam. "Coming up with a route to Lanwa." Replies Liam. "Lanwa? So we're going to Lord Onyx anyway?" I ask. Danny nods. "What about... You know?" "Carl?" Says Danny. "He'll be fine here. Don't worry." So, I'm going to meet my challenge soon. I wander what awaits me at Lord Onyx's castle in Lanwa. ???????????????? Please tell me you all understand it so far. I do tend to make my stories complicated!
