Beth was absolutely GORGEOUS. but she didn't believe anyone when theyvtold her that. She has silky long blonde hair that went down her back and electrifying green eyes and freckles dotted across her face. She was about 5'4 she was short. But she was super smart. She had been my friend for years. Quinn was model like.She has short shoulder length hair that was a dark brown color. Big blue eyes and a tall figure. She was so pretty and sweet. She always loved to have her nails painted a bright up beat color with both of her thumbs painted black. She loved converse more than anything else. Beth and I arrived at the competition only to be greated by tons. And I mean. TONS of people. About 100 teams were competeeting for the overall small gym level 5 sweep. We checked in and found our team. Hairspray was in the air as we all checked our makeup applied tons of red lipstick and put the last touches of glitter on our eyelids. I started stretching as I my phone started ringing. "hello?" "hello beautiful!" "hi Zach. Are you coming today?" I asked blushing "wouldn't miss it for the world. Good luck today." "thanks. I gotta go." "Kay bye. Your gonna do amazing" I hung up the phone and went back to stretching. My team of 16 girls found the warm up room and decided to run our routines. The song was a cheer mix of Party Rock Anthem, Tik Tok, and Take Over Control. I loved it. The first time we ran it was flawless I hit all my twists and my layout perfectly. Everyone was flawless. we were running all of our tumbling passes for fun and practice. Shae went and did her backhandspring series and on the third one she fell..... Okay I know. Not a very good chapter. It's all about cheer. It's a filler. It has to be here. It deals with something in the future of the story. Just go with me. I love you all!! Update: again tonight!
Turns out Shae was fine. She just tripped. We went on to the mats on stage and performed. We were AMAZING I can't believe we did that well. It was soo good. We ended up placing second. Not bad but not particularly what we wanted. We came to win. As did everyone else. And we only lost by one point! I was waiting for zach by the concession stand, looking for him but trying not to make it super obvious. "hey!" I said as I saw him "hey yourself. You were amazing babe" zach said with a smile I kissed him real quick before my coach saw. He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the complex. The warm sun hitting my bare legs felt amazing. It was a block of ice in the competition complex. We walked to his car hand in hand and when we got to it he opened the door for me like a gentlemen. "now can I kiss you?" he asked "one sec. I gotta get all this gross makeup off. I hate it." He groaned at having to wait longer to kiss me. I did a little happy dance inside knowing that we both really liked each other was very re assuring "there. Clown face all gone!" "well come here then!" he said laughing I leaned over and kissed him not wanting to stop but eventually we were both gasping for air. He sat back with a smile. "where you wanna go hales?" he said sweetly "somewhere with food. I'm starving!" I said He looked at me and laughed. I smiled back at him before quickly planting another kiss on his soft lips. "now drive my taxi man!" I said laughing. Zach was amazing. He always knew how to make me smile. I could trust him with anything and he'd always have something to say. He had green eyes like ivy with blue around the center. And straight dark brown hair that swooshed over his forehead ending just below his eyebrows. He was really tall. 6'3 and he plays baseball. He had a strong build. But boy he was lightning fast. You couldn't catch him. Ever. He was just that fast. And no exception when girls first meet him. He just has that quality that makes girls fall for him so fast. And he dosnt even do anything. We had been going out for four and a half months. But it felt like only yesterday I'd kissed him for the first time. A few minutes later we pulled up at my dorm. "hey I thought we were going to eat?" I was Very confused "we are. But tonight. Go get showered or whatever else it is girls do to get ready for two hours in there. Dress nice. I'll pick you up in two hours." "alright.
