You might want to consider bunching up the paragraphs to make it easier to read in one post. A couple of grammar mistakes, no biggie, but when someone is speaking, you want to move it to the next line.
Time passed, and I soon discovered that the Tears disappeared, out of thin air. It seemed offly odd to me, but I knew the sun was drifting into the sliver sky, so I scurried away from the site, not knowing what consequences like ahead in this akaward occurrence. ---(----(----(----/ \----)----)----)--- "Who's there?"a guard protested. "Whit, you know what's good for you if you don't open that door."i growled playfully making the echo big enough for the guard to her, causing the guards lips to curve, slightly. "Well if it isn't Sacoto, what brings you back home? Did you save the world? End the war? C'mon, there are no secrets." I snorted,"As If. Now open the door before I open it myself." The gate arose as water trickled from the sides, causing the gate to look a lot darker than usual. As I entered my place, I strutted across the bridge, being serious as I usually was. When I was younger, I was always known as the child who"loved the ride". I loved to make trouble for everyone! Even Whit when he was about 7 or so, I throwed honey at him that caused him almost fatal bee stings! Oh good times, good times.
But Whit and me are just good friends, nothing less. My home was an enclosed area called: Serifian. The wall curved slightly downward, showing the remarkable, intricate details that were carved on the wall. The sunlight snoozed as each brilliant mastery of art reflected its gazing colors of the land. There in the area, it contained refined, hand made houses, aroused with delicate, whimsical, flowers. Each flower contained the soul of one living being in the land. Also, each flower is unique, no one alike. The flowers control your senses of thought and creativity as they give pictures and details of your life ahead. I really don't care for these flowers, since rumors have spread that mine was going dormant....forever. In my mind, I just fended for myself, just waiting what life has for me. The flowers are the only reason we all have not vanished... ---(----(----(----(. .)----)----)----)----) As I strolled through Serifian, Whit called out and gazed at me, suddenly then staring at the floor. "Hey S, do you wanna go and help Bryn with her volunteering hours at the Sacritum?" I countered suddently put then stood up straight, knowing that I got his full attention, "Yeah, Whit, that would be nice. I haven't seen Bryn in a while since she wanted to let the kids know the war that's going on right now, it sickens me." "How so? The little monsters need to know what's up with the world instead of living in here, it's so boring."He yawned, rolling his eyes and stretching his shoulders. I grinned, showing my teeth as if I really cared. Of course I didn't care, everyone thought of living in the open, it's been going on for ages! "Yeah, if they stepped outside, guess who's on the menu for outsiders!" We both snickered, trying not to laugh, but Whit just burst, his face turning blue. "Well good luck with them."he smiled, leaning over the fountain that rested in the middle of the area.
"Yeah, but we should go to Bryn, she must be looking like a pack mule right now!"I said, smiling softly. Whit replied excited,"Then get your butt up! Race ya!" Whit got a head start as me dashed from the fountain area and dodged multiple obstacles. I let the wind catch and touch my hair, loving the way is soothed my scalp, bringing in fresh air to my nose. "No wonder the rumors spread so fast", I said in my mind, chuckling at the same time. Me and Whit made a huge mess!
Looking past as the people of the community frustrated and angry because we tipped over multiple barrels, boxes, carts, and children, a girl about my age bumped into me intensely, knocking me over on my side and landing in a garden of flowers. She gasped as I clenched my fists, trying not to thrash at her, probably ripping her apart. "I-I'm so s-s-orry, please excuse m-m-m-me." she studdered, trying to get out of me and Whits way, thinking she could get away with a simple, polite gesture. I stared at her for a long time, thinking maybe I saw her before. Right after a good minute, I got a good look of her. She was short, about 4"5", with glowing cut to shoulder length crimson hair, with a mermaid fish tail braid, making her look as if she was about to go around the world, like an Irish, maybe. As Whit helped me jerk off the thorns that were embedded into my skin, she shook, realizing that I was not pleased with her presence. She tried to walk away slowly, one little step after another, until after I plucked a gentle petal from my face, I rose my voice, quick and clear, "Don't, it won't help."
At that instant, the frightened girl immediately stopped, no movement at all. She looked like she was lost in time, but she surprisingly came back to the real word and said, without any form of stammering, "I don't know what your talking about, we bumped into each other, I apologized, and thats it. Now I'm sorry, but I need to go do some errands so may-" I abruptly, without hesitance, blocked her path, making pairs of eyes corner and gaze at what we were doing. She knew who I was, and what I do as a living, so she's must be hiding something, or being a jackass, either way. --(----(----(----(---(. .)----)----)----)----)
She quivered, reaching for a person to come by, to the rescue, but no one wanted to help in plain daughter, just smoldering, curious, eyes attached around all of us. "I really I have to go, it's really late." she replied, a hiss in her chest. "Hark, what are those sounds u hear? Oh right, a pigeon."I replied, proudly not moving toward her to attack. She suddenly jumped 10 feet up in the air, showing balance and grace at the upmost role. Huh. So she's graceful. Big deal. She later smiled a smile that showed the face of a tyrant, ruling and speculating the eyes of the audience that lay there, breaths taken away by her astonishing moves. Then she jumped down, scaring the audience but then took a sword that indicated a peace maker or some sort, cut a rope of a banner that sold pies, and the banner caused a huge barrel to slide, rotating back, then suddenly go at immense speed and knock me into the fountain, causing slight trama to my bones, I couldn't really stand up that well either. The audience cheered of applause, showing her
The way a hero should be treated, and I see Whit, helping me stand up as I try to wobble. She just ruined my reputation, my word. I clapped as she bowed, showing honor, then the audience froze, and so did she. I wobbled forward, holding on to my knees, trying to stand straight as possible, but I bent down, like a crutched person. "Brava, I must say, who are you I must ask?"I said, breathing heavily. She gave a signal to the crowd to leave and the sighed. As the crowd left, she yawned," My names Calla, and I see that your the trouble maker so called, Sacoto, yes?" I nodded, relieved"Yeah, seems so. How did you do that?"
"Im really into the fighting zone, but that was just self defense. Plus, how I did that was by jumping, duh." I crossed my arms, giving her a stare and a face like boulder, not convinced. She rolled her eyes," Ok well maybe I might have been training for a long time, it's no rush." She squirmed,"What do you want from me?"
I pondered, trying to get her attention,"Well if you would like to join us for some lunch with my friends, we can chat more about your amazing mobility." She blushed,"Why would I do that? I've heard of you, your ways outside the walls." Whit smiled, entertained,"So Sacoto is a legend?" He punched my shoulder,"I told you you were famous!" I snorted, amused by his reply,"Oh really, so Calla, is that a yes?"
She flinched, hesitated for a moment, "Oh idk, it's not right to talk to strangers, well Sacato, mainly. But I do have one condition, if you let me, I come." Whit groaned and massaged his forehead, causing bulldog wrinkled to appear,"You can't be serious. It's just lunch, it's not gonna kill you." Then he peeked at me looking back at Calla then said, "She's not that harmful." Calla giggled,"Really, well in that case, I will join you at your little lunch. I have to do some errands, so TA-TA!" Her heels caused the floor to creek a sharp staccato as she walked away, looking like she never saw us. Whit laughed, "Shes not really the type of person you'd want to hang out with huh, S?" I rolled my eyes, trying not to smile, but it showed very small, "Yeah, she's like my new BFF!"I replied in a inflated voice as if I was in a mall covered in pollen, since I was allergic.
Then I remembered,"Oh wait, aren't we suppose to see Bryn at the Sacritum?" Whit nodded and we got up, streched, and began to walk to Bryn again. Bryn is like the best buddy to be there, oh for example, a giant crate of lethal snakes are about to snack on you, while your buddy does something that you never expected, like oh shoot them with lasers an then eat the ones that are cooked? Well that's Bryn, crazy as a tear being good for a change. And yeah true story. Never go into a cave that has gold in it that says you can have immense powers of venom, cause that's snakes overpowering you, take my word for it. As you skipped around the small rig store that lived an old man who keeps feeding nuts to us as If we were squirrels. God dammit, someone shoot him! ---(----(----(----(. .)----)----)----)----)-- After continuous hours of grazing throughout my home, we finally reached the Sacritum. The Sacritum is a place where usually the oldest history lies in that dome. It's filed with millions of artifacts and researches, which Bryns job is to teach the young kits about the war that's happening on right now. Oh geez the war.
The war consisted of two main groups....us(the humans!) and the Tears, shape shifting, horrifying creatures. I barely like to look at them , they disgust me. It all started when a sorcerer, named Feloxious, who was the queen of the world at the time, created peace and serenity to the land, no mistakes, just pure bliss. She embarked on treacherous journeys, helping everyone, it usually touched everyone else, she is my role model, since she still got away of snakes....so lucky. Then one day, a Juvenile wizard who was expelled from causing trouble in the school, decided to take matters into its own hands. He created a monster, so hideous and murderous, it decided to try to wipe out the whole world of its existence. The monster killed billions, causing great suffering for everyone, when that evil wizard "sorted out" the war by trying to be a "peacemaker". He summoned the beast, and people acknowledged him as a legend, a god, a ruler. The only way for him to have ruled he had to take out the queen. So the wizard took the queen while she was sleeping, and did something to her, no one knows, really. After the queen was "missing", they decided to crown the wizard as the ruler. Supposingly the new ruler gave the land a terrible price. He created poverty, he took the lives of the innocent for games, took funds from the people, made too many wars, which resulted from a new war, this one! So then the monster evolved to a Tear. The tears now have the sharpest fingernails ever, have distraught wings, and have the scream of a world, exploding in ashes, it shoots acid, and also, it's made out of poison! It's that great, that's why barely humans win a fight with the Tears, they always have the upper advantage, no matter what situation this is...they win....except for yesterday, which was beyond freaky, sending me chills on my back and sending ridged thought to my mind.
You see, evolving from an immense beast into a smaller threat, doesn't mean they are not as great as they were before. Tears now have great mobility, like a cougar with 6 extra legs, impossible but true, also the poison is more deadly, more accurate, and it shoots at a higher distance, Yippie. It really shows that us humans have no advantage into fending for ourselves and our kind in this trechorous state were in. Good things weapons are best made by humans, or we would be in the ground, either being poisoned to death, or dead by the tears eating our flesh. It's not pretty, but in my land, we're supposed to know it by heart, as for the rules. Bleh, it disgusts me.....
Such as for Bryn's job, teaching the little young critters what really lies beneath and around the walls, is not a good start for a child, in my opinion, it's very cruel. Once as a child, you are born in the hospitals around the area, taken care of for a few days, and then sent back to the parents to start their training.....of learning, which I think is weird.
