Actually the collar bone area didn't hurt as bad as my other 4...my clavicle was my least painful tattoo. Scabbing has happened with all of my tattoos I use cocoa butter to deal with that. Softens the scabs. As far as pain it depends on your pain tolerance. For me outline hurts less then shading. Shading kills me. Outline is like whatever to me. The only bad part about my clavicle was that the needle tends to jump off the bone a lot which did hurt a bit. My shoulder blade killed as well as my upper arm tattoo hurt a lot. My clavicle, the outside of my forearm and my hip tattoo didn't hurt all that bad. But yet again it depends on your pain tolerance. I tend to enjoy the pain of getting a tattoo and thus don't mind it. Your experience may be different.
Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun too. That will cause the color to run. Post a pic of your tat idea please?
I would recommend getting a small tattoo before getting a large one to have an idea of your ability to deal with the pain.
For me the most painful was areas with large nerve receptors, boney areas weren't as bad as I expected. I would follow the advice for care of your artist, especially being they will be the one to do touch up work. You don't want them to charge for touch up because you didn't follow care instructions
tattooing a very muscular area actually hurts more than bone… most people aren't overly muscular so they don't know this
thanks so much for your answers! If you have any more advice for me please feel free to follow thanks again
Your tattoo artist should tell you what to do after you get your ink. I usually try to keep it clean by washing with some water and unscented soap. Then pat dry with a PAPER towel(less bacteria) and swipe on a very thin layer of A
Use a&d or neon sport to cure it and keep it clean it shouldn't scrap up if the right person is doing it and it hurts in a lot of places
