The Library Arthurs Point Of View A look of realization crossed her face. "why haven't we been attacked again already?" I decided to annoy her a bit so she had a proper reason to look at me like that. "because of this." I opened a small bottle that I kept rat pee in, and splashed her with it. It was only a few drops. "eww! What is that!?" she asked, disgusted by the repulsive smell. "rat pee!" I said cheerfully. she went absolutely ballistic. "YOU IDIOT! why did you just put rat pee all over me!?" I decided to act like the know-it-all I am. "it stops the bloodlusts from finding you. They mainly use their sense of smell to navigate and track down prey. If you have rat pee on you then it hides your natural scent, so they cant hunt you down." She still looked disgusted. I laughed in my head, wondering what she thought of me. "After this, she probably hates me!" I thought to myself. "well it was great meeting you, but I should be on my way." She seemed quite keen to leave, but all of a sudden I didn't want to let her go... "leave? By yourself? While it's still dark and dangerous? Will you be safe all alone?" I blurted out. Me and my stupid mouth... "well I got here ok didn't I?" she said, giving me a strange look. "yes you got here ok, but if it wasn't for me you would be another lifeless corpse on the floor by now." I thought to myself. "yes but... Will I ever see you again?" I asked. What am I doing? "I don't know. Maybe we will see each other in the street sometimes. Why do you--" She was cut short by me kissing her. YOU FLIPPING IDIOT WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING KISSING HER... My brain went fuzzy with conflicting thoughts and emotions. After what seemed like a thousand years to me, but what was probably just a few seconds for her, we pulled apart. "what was that for?" "umm..." I couldn't think of a suitable reply. What was it for? I wasn't too sure... "sorry. I didn't mean to do that. I kind of... Umm.. Well... " Why. Am. I. So. STUPID!? "I think I should go now..." Damn. I had scared her off... "Oh. Ok. Bye then." was all I managed to get out. I could feel my face become hot and red. She walked out of the library like nothing had happened, but I swear I saw a smile on her lips... ---------------------
Is there anybody here kind enough to wall my readers when I update? I try to when I can, but it takes up the time I need for writing
It isn't the second time he does it. It is the same thing, but in Arthurs point if view instead of Stephanie's. The reason I posted it so far after the original time it happened was because I was not sure I wanted to do different points if views.
Bump! I liked how it makes the library part make a lot more sense because we know to people's opinion
