I. HAVE. UPDATED!!!!!!! --------------------- The Library Arthurs Point Of View I walked around the village, my bow already loaded with an arrow. I hadn't seen anything yet, but that was normal. Sometimes even the bloodlusts were smart enough to avoid me. A movement in the corner of my eye caught my attention. A monster had gone into a nearby building. I followed it stealthily. Once in the library, I realized how eerie it was. The windows cast odd shadows onto the floor, making the ground seem to be alive with dark shapes. Even though there was a monster in here, I could still sense another living thing. Probably human. And it was close. As soon as I felt this I backed away quickly, not wanting to be found by this mysterious person. Too quickly. I collided with books behind me, and a single book fell onto the floor from the bookshelf. It hit the ground with a thud that sounded loud enough to wake the dead. I heard the sudden scrape of a chairs legs moving across the floor. Like someone had stood up and was about to walk over here... I felt the presence of something behind me, maybe a bookshelf or two away. I quickly ran out of harms way, and found somewhere I could watch the monster and whatever else was there without being seen. I sat and watched. A bloodlust came out from behind a nearby bookshelf, searching for the source of the noise. It saw the book on the floor and tossed it away frustratedly, wondering what had caused the noise and whether it was edible. The sound of a humans footsteps startled me. I saw a girl creep round a bookshelf, looking for what had caused the noise. She looked around, but didn't see the monster that was hidden in the shadows. I looked over at the bloodlust. It was studying the girl intently, like she was a book it couldn't wait to read. It's eyes glistened in the moonlight as it stared. The girl was looking in the opposite direction of the creature. Before I had time to react, it leapt onto her and pinned her down, ready to sink it's sharp, deadly fangs into her and put an end to her life. She let go of something and it clattered away from her. She squeezed her eyelids shut, waiting for death to take her. Then I remembered. You idiot, you're holding a loaded bow and you are just standing there!? I raised the bow, and aimed straight for it's heart. ---------------------
