Lol I like Lucas.... But I also like Arthur.... Try thinking out a love triangle... Those r always really good
It was just another one of my thoughts I had while I sat in a tree, deep in the forest. I looked for something to shoot, but nothing came. I was about to doze off -a dangerous thing to do in the forest- when I saw a pair of red eyes looking at me. Red eyes are never a good thing, as they almost always mean mutants. That was the one thing those scientists never managed to change. Once they turned an innocent animal into a mutant, it's eyes would turn red. Nobody knows why. But when killed, it's eyes would revert to their original color. I guess that would help in war, as starving enemy soldiers would not be able to tell the difference between a dead rabbit and a dead mutant made to look like a rabbit. Its not good for me though. I looked back at the mutant. It was still staring at me. I could see a snarling mouth under those ominous, glowing eyes, and sharp, pointed teeth just waiting to tear me apart. I stayed calm. One sudden move could set that mutant lunging at me to rip out my throat. It was probably a wolf mutant. nothing fancy. I slowly got out my crossbow, loaded it and shot the thing. A waste of ammunition, which is hard to come by unless you go to the black market (which is obviously what I did) But better to be safe than sorry. I got down from the tree and walked in the opposite direction of the thing. Some mutants attack in packs, so it would be better to walk away. I checked a few traps I had set up. I made sure the traps didn't kill the animals, so I could check their eyes. I had caught two rabbits and a nice fat squirrel. I had also caught a bird, but it was dead so there was no knowing if it was safe to eat. I quickly put the other animals out of their misery and stuffed them unceremoniously into my bag. I quickly reset my traps and started running back to my house. I had been gone for far too long. It was getting dark. How long was I up in that tree for!? I kept running until I reached a clearing. It was then I realized I had no idea where I was. The moon was just starting to rise, and stars began to speckle the sky. It was night. I was alone. Deep in the forest. In the dark. I has just started to climb up a tree when a not so distant howl sent a shiver up my spine. Oh no.
