Chapter 3 Emma's Pov "Em you made it, finally!" Lily's bubbly voice rang from our usual table in the diner. My mother owned this place, so we made sure no one ever took our table. I walked over with a smile, pulling Elijah along with me. "And you brought Fang!" Lily grinned at us with a smirk. Elijah rolled his eyes, looking at Lily. "Thanks for pointing out the obvious." He said with a snarky look. Lily giggled at this smiling bright. While Jareth on the other hand glared at Elijah coldly, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "Good to see you to Fang." Lily grinned as we took seats at the table. I looked over to Taylor, and bit my lip. She stared down at the table, her eyes not showing one emotion, and her skin seeming to be paler then ever before. "How are you doing Taylor?" I said gently, guilt filling me. She didn't look up to me, she didn't even act like she heard me. "Wonderful." She muttered. She was taking Justins death really hard. He was the only guy really who understood her. Lily sighed, rubbing Taylor's shoulder, before shaking her head to me. I leaned back on Elijah, looking up at him with a sad look. He glared down for a bit, and gently wrapped his arm around my waist holding me close. I took that as a "I'm sorry". I still wasn't sure why Elijah had killed Justin, but I looked back that, I knew Elijah wasn't all bad. "So now, all we got to do is wait for Sal, and his new girlfriend." Lily said trying to regain the happy mood. My eyes widened at her words though. Salrion...has a new girlfriend? I mean.. I was happy for him, but wow he sure moved on fast... Elijah watched my expressions carefully, so I made sure to smile, and not look bothered. "His new girlfriend?" I said with a tight smile. "Yeah, she's real nice, her name is Alida." Lily said with a grin. I nodded watching lily for a moment. I was happy for him... We both moved on now.. Bump
Chapter 4 Emma's POV "So were are they, shouldn't they be here by now?" I muttered looking at Jareth. Jareth looked at me, leaning back crossing his arms. "Who Sal and Ali, they are on a date, they said they would be here when they are done." He said. I held back a glare at this. He never took me out on long dates, it usually was just grabbing a bite at a fast food place. "What kind of date?" Lily smiled watching Jareth with warmth in her eyes. "I think Sal said something about a picnic by the lake." Jareth said picking up a fry covered in nacho cheese, feeding it to Lily. I snorted, leaning back on Elijah, looking up at him. "We should do something like that." I whispered to him. "We will do something way better then some cheesy picnic." He rumbled watching me. I smiled at him, nodding. Feeling much better. "Hey guys sorry we are late." I heard a familiar voice say. I glanced up to see Sal, the same as he always had been, with his honest looking eyes. Only I detected something different in those eyes this time. I slowly looked to the girl standing tightly beside him. Her piercing blue eyes were intimidating, even though her features hinted nothing but pure innocence. I had to admit she was beautiful, more so then I could ever be. "Yay, you guys are here!" Lily squealed. Sal chuckled pulling The girl with him, and pulled her chair out for her to sit. I glared a bit watching them, and looked down, picking at my cheese fries. I felt lips at my ear now, and I shivered. "What's wrong babe?" Elijah whispered, his voice coated in a mixture of dark concern. "Nothing, these fries just taste a bit cold." I lied smoothly. He looked down at my fries with a raised brow, and I watched as his hand went under the table, directly under my plate, and suddenly a blaze light up for just a second before disappearing. When his hand returned on my leg, I picked up a now nicely toasted fry. I giggled biting into it. "Much better, thank you." I said watching him. Before Elijah could speak a voice that only an angel could have rang out to us. "Hi Emma, hi Elijah." Alida said nicely. "Hi," I muttered, not looking at her. But I glanced up to Elijah as he didn't say anything. His eyes seemed locked on Alida. I elbowed him with a look. He shook his head looking away from her and to me. What had that been?! Bump?
