Update I woke with an obnoxious beeping filling the room made worse with my massive headache and a throbbing above my right eye. I picked my self up from the floor and resumed my search for the note that may or may not have critical information that could end the murders quicker, and save who knows how many lives. I gave up the search realizing the note wasn't here, and walked to the answering machine. I noticed there where two messages so I hit play and started making my morning coffee. "Hey Nick, it's Amanda, I hope you don't mind but the kids convinced us to stay in Florida a little longer than me and Luke expected. Hope you don't need the car! if you take a taxi or anything tell me how much I owe ya when we get back love you, we're having a blast can wait to see you when we get back!" The car! It's got to be in the car I mumbled. I slammed my hand on the counter, Of course I lend her the car and forget to check it first... Stupid! how was I so stupid I continued starting to get mad at myself. Before I could continue the second message started playing. "Nick we need you to come down to the old glass factory in an hour... there had been another murder"
Update I looked to see when the call came in 7:53 and it was 8:31 now I grabbed my coffee and ran to outside before I realized I didn't have a car. Luckily for me I saw my neighbor leaving for work. I ran towards his car leaving my coffee on my porch. He noticed me and stopped rolling down the window "good morning neighbor! He announced. Can I help you with something?" "Yes, would you mind dropping me off at the glass plant on your way to the office?" "Sure hop in, this about the murders?" "Unfortunately," I answered as I climbed in. "Apparently another body was found there this morning" "Oh wow that's not good, what happened?" "That I don't know but I suppose I'll find out soon." We sat in silence the rest of the way. "Thanks a lot my sister has the car I don't know how I'd have gotten here if you had not been leaving just then" "Don't mention it, good luck with the case!" He responded before driving off. I ran inside seeing the all to familiar yellow tape blocking the scene with a reporter talking to one of the officers. I immediately went under the tape and walked towards the chief who took me to the body. Oh wow... Is all I could say when I saw it.
