-my trained hearing picks up the chuckle and I look to my side to see a cave about twenty feet away. I dismount and crouch down approaching stealthily-
-I quietly draw my bow and nock an arrow to it. I approach the mouth of the cave and peek inside my hood concealing me. I look shocked at what I see and tears of sadness roll down my checks. I stare in disbelief for a few more seconds before it turns to anger. I slowly raise the bow and fire at the boy.-
-slides to the ground sleeping- Boy: -arrow bounces off armor, let's Alida lay and stands with a glare- Who goes there?
-I stay stock still another arrow nocked. I know if I stay still it's near impossible for him to see me. I observe him closely looking for a weakness in his armor. I see it just under his left arm. An unarmored spot that will go straight to his heart. I wait and carefully plot when to fire again, knowing when I do it will blow my cover so it has to be a killing blow-
-I take the chance immediately. As soon as he lift his arm to lift her I fire the arrow directly at the weak spot-
Boy: -holds Alida to his chest as he falls so she wouldn't wake, dies- Alida: -sleeps with a smile on her face-
-I quietly slip in and push the boy further into the cave. I sling my bow and very carefully pick Alida up. I carry her gently out of the cave and flinch as the sun hit her face. I watch her carefully-
