If you want to have a peek inside my crazy mind, I'll explain why Caspian is a tiger and von Adler is a dragon. If you're not interested in silly things, ignore this post Prince Caspian comes from the Pantora kingdom. The tiger's genus is Panthera, and tora is Japanese for tiger. Caspian is one of the largest types of tiger. Prince Siegfried's name is based on Siegfried, a hero of German lore who famously slew a dragon. His kingdom Thiamat is a skewed version of Tiamat, a Babylonian goddess who is sometimes depicted as a dragon. To go into further detail, Prince Orcello is the dolphin and I depict him often with waves. Orcello takes the beginning of Orca which shares the same family as dolphins. The family being Delphinidae, where Van's kingdom Delphino takes it's name from. Zane DeGillus is the finch. His last name takes the middle letters from the family Fringillidae. His kingdom is Avyys, a play on the pronunciation of Aves, the class that birds fall under. Prince Ian Kirtak is from the kingdom of Equix. It's not a longshot to guess his animal is the horse, whose genus is Equus. Kirtak is similar to Kirtag, a name Turkic people gave the Przewalski's Horse. I could go into detail about where their castle names came from.... But that's just ridiculous :3 I'm sure you guys can figure that one out
This is a truly amazing story. To be honest, there aren't too many of those on here, from what I could tell from lurking. And I agree with Fallen about the Caspian thing. If Nathan was real, I'd totally have a bromance with him :lol: My choice is Prince Caspian, obviously.
