Once that happened to me, and I just restarted my iPod and it worked perfectly. I assume she already tried that, and it didn't work? :3 Perhaps, if her app still won't work, you (Goldialocks) could tell her that accept won (8-4) and she could start writing and send it to you, then you could post it here. Perhaps. I probably sound awfully pretentious right now, what with my concern about the writing, not her ability to come online.
What I do is exit out of the app. Double tap the home button. It leads you to the "apps shortcuts". Then, like deleting a normal app hold your finger on the PimD app. Wait until the apps jiggle, you'll see white minus sign enclosed in a red circle(⛔<--like that) in the top left hand corner. Click on it. The PimD app shortcut should disappear. Tap your screen to remove the "shortcuts". MAKE SURE YOU'RE NOT IN THE PIMD APP!!!! Then wait a couple of mins. 2-5 is good. After the wait is over open PimD the normal way(through the home screen. It should work. I tried it this way and it worked fine. If not then good luck!
Sorry everyone, I had issues with my phone connecting service and also had to reset it as it wouldn't let me access pm, wall, profile, forums, chat due to being logged out....? Don't know what that was about. I actually couldn't access Internet at all.... Odd. Also, happy belated holidays to everyone although my 4 year relationship ended on the end of the world I'm still healing. There will be an update later today. Thanks for the bumps!
Jack...? OH MI GOD JIHI! I'm so sorry. He doesn't know what he's missing…AN AWESOME STORY WRITER. But really, I am sooty for you.
I stood slowly and reached for his hand but he at the last moment pulled away, his fingers brushing over mine before he closed them in a fist. He turned and stalked forward, assuming I’d follow his footsteps. How arrogant! I followed him despite these thoughts. “Please make arrangements,” Siegfried said to a servant beside him who hurried ahead to prepare his spot. Zane DeGillus’s eyes followed me as we approached. Siegfried ascended the steps with me following dutifully behind. He greeted Zane and then went to his private viewing box. The servant from before motioned to the seat behind Siegfried and I sat. It was awfully confined in the space I realized as the servant sat beside me. The curtains were pulled across both sides of the box so that one could concentrate on the fireworks without distraction from the crowd. They were heavy as well to buffer ambient noise. I stared at Siegfried’s broad back as he sat in front of me. His poise was deliberate and confident, fitting of a prince. He wasted no movement as he took a champagne flute and drank from it. All others left soon after and I was alone with him and the servant. “What’s your purpose here, Ms. Werner?” Siegfried said without mincing words. His tone was harsh but it seemed strangely childish as if he were angrier at being left out of the loop. The servant beside me busied himself with the tray of food, laying it out in beautiful patterns. I stammered as I tried to understand the question. “Leave Christophe,” Siegfried said suddenly and the servant stood like a shot and exited the box with a bow. It was clear that the Prince's orders were absolute. Siegfried turned and his eyes pierced mine like lasers. He was too intense. “Your highness…” I said nervously, pushing back against my chair unconsciously. His gloved fingers reached out in a quick movement and grabbed the underside of my chin. I felt an electric shock at his touch, but couldn’t move. He tilted my head up as he studied my face. He seemed to be thinking about something. “I suppose you aren’t that bad looking,” Siegfried said at last, leaning closer to me. He was so close I could feel his breath mingling with mine. “Maybe you should be mine…” I jumped as the first firework shot into the sky with a whistling sound. The deafening boom was loud even in the buffered box, and Siegfried let out a sound of annoyance at my jumpiness. “Why are you so nervous?” he growled, looking like a child whose time had been spoiled. “What’s so great about Kirtak?” he muttered under his breath. His brow furrowed in agitation and his icy eyes glittered in the dark. He concentrated solely on me and I felt a flush warm my body. He approached me again and I pushed back inadvertently tipping my chair. With a yelp I crashed to the floor and he lost his balance as well, eyes widening in surprise as he pinned me beneath his solid weight.
I felt dizzy suddenly pushed up against his sculpted form. I could see the colored flashes of the fireworks from above and before us. The moment blinked by and he looked embarrassed. I thought this must be the first emotion I had seen from him. He got up quickly, his black uniform blending into the dark. I held my face in embarrassment but he seemed eager to forget that had happened as well and turned away. His eyes fell to my purse and I followed his gaze seeing my notepad peeking out. He looked curious suddenly and reached for it, snatching it away just as I grabbed for it myself. He opened it and his eyes darkened as he read my notes. Certainly he would get the wrong idea without an explanation! My unfiltered feelings lie inside as well. What an embarrassment! “Don’t interfere with Prince Kirtak,” Siegfried said his tone emotionless again. He threw the notepad at me in disgust. “You don’t belong here. If you need something to do, then amuse yourself like all the rest of these women and find a rich man, not a prince.” My chest burned at his words. “That’s not what I’m doing!” I said angrily, unable to help myself. I picked up the notepad and put it back in my purse. I clamped my mouth shut as he turned to me his eyes filled with fury. “May I come in?” said a voice from outside the box. Siegfried had opened his mouth to reprimand me but he stopped. Zane DeGillus stepped inside and moved rather deliberately between us. “Our fireworks seem to be even better than last year.” He walked up to the opening, seeming oblivious to the mood. As he leaned up against the railing he looked up at the colorful patterns booming over the sky and gave a sigh. I was stunned to silence at his elegant form, surprised again at how graceful the man actually was. The tension seemed to dissipate as we all stood and looked up at the fireworks. They were fantastic colors and spanned great distances each time, keeping everyone enthralled. The Avyss Kingdom although not as powerful as the Thiamat Kingdom, didn’t spare any expenses. I felt eyes on me and I saw Siegfried staring at me. His eyes still seemed angry but they were now calm. Zane drummed his long fingers against his chin as he stared up at the sky. Standing between the two I felt very out of place. “Ugh, where is Christophe?” Siegfried said, pushing aside the curtain and stepping out. Zane turned immediately to me and caught my eye. His deep blue eyes were studying me in curiosity. “So the question seems to remain. Why are you here?” he asked in a smooth tone. “Pardon?” I replied, unsure of how to answer it. “I see you around events and no one seems to recognize you.” Zane brushed an errant strand of hair over his shoulder. “Here you are again.” He reached forward and grabbed my hand.
His eyes drifted over my shoulder and I turned to see Siegfried had returned. A strange emotion passed over his face and then he went back to his usual stoic self. Zane remained as passive as ever. Siegfried sat down on his seat. “If you have nothing better to do than get in the way Prince DeGillus, you may leave.” Siegfried snapped, not turning to face either of us. Zane didn’t even flinch at the rude treatment. “Thank you for attending,” he said to Siegfried. He then turned to me and kissed my limp hand that he still grasped. “That goes for you as well.” He bowed and took his leave. Siegfried was silent for a while and I felt myself relaxing. The fireworks were ogoing higher and faster now, reaching the finale. They spiraled out in great bursts of white and gold, blue and red, green and silver. The show was amazing and I found myself leaning forward to see a bit better. I heard a noise to my left and gasped as I realized that I had been leaning so far forward that I was almost pushing Siegfried aside from his seat. He no longer looked angry but uncomfortable and it seemed unnatural on his perfect face. “You…” he said in his deep voice. He seemed to steel himself suddenly and grabbed my chin, pulling my face to his. I pulled away quickly and he smirked at my reaction. The buttons on his crisp uniform glittered in the darkness. I could tell that he took great pains in his appearance for royal functions. His messy hair fell in his eyes as he reached out gripping my arm almost distressingly tight. “Don’t tell me you think you’re too good for me, commoner,” he said with a curt laugh. His skin was like porcelain, too perfect. It reminded me that despite all his impressive accomplishments, he was younger than me and his age was showing as he tried to push me around. “Who brought you here?” he asked, his eyes affixing me with a steely glare. “Why are you so… interesting?” He brushed hair from my face and I realized that the cacophony of bangs and roars from the finale outside matched the erratic beating of my heart. Unlike the passionate display by Van or the teasing of Nathan, I felt that Siegfried was trying to possess me entirely. Siegfried tilted his head at my expression, seeming uncertain. He was perhaps a genius at military strategy but in this type of situation I felt he knew little. Although he was young it seemed too dangerous to be led about like this. I pulled away from him quickly and ended the moment. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I said. “We’ve already been introduced your highness, there’s no trick here.” He looked doubtful but the conversation couldn’t continue. The fireworks ended with a magnificent blast, the five kingdoms insignias lighting up the sky in their royal colors against the backdrop of smoke. I could hear the crowd cheering and clapping.
@Angel I'm silenced. Like, dude, I literally cannot communicate with anyone in pm. It's impossible for me. :|
