-runs down the stairs to Lily-

"Lily..look at this later. Daddy's holding some kind of ball and he wants us to have a date.."

-frowns again-

 

-I smile-

"Excellent."

 

"Uh. Get out of my castle!"

 

-Laughs-

"Yes because I'm so going to get a date. If I said it once I've said it a hundred times. I. Don't. Date."

-Sighs-

 

-I smile and lift her up cradling her in my arms-

"Then we better get moving hadn't we."

-I begin a steady jog-

 

-sighs-

"I'm going to wear my ugly dress. And it's last season of Scroll Weekly."

"I miss Alida I hope she is home soon!"

-Looks out the window-

 

-I laugh happily-

"Who needs a horse and carriage when you have me eh."

 

-I smile-

"But you and I however. Are irreplaceable."

 

"Alida should be responsible enough not to go away. She'll come back. But I hope not pregnant."
