  1. ^^ only effects real addicts 

Specially a lady that killed her baby because the baby stopped her playing "Farmville" it ain't just violent games

  2. those r psychopaths not real sane people

  3. They "used" to be normal, until they met gaming 

  4. Next you can site how heavy metal and rap music makes kids go out and kill, because the "Music made me do it". Please don't say anything about those people were just plain crazy, nope, everyone has to blame everything on something or someone. There is no personal responsibility anymore.

  5. Gaming is Good. End of story. OP blocked will never look at this crap again. Bye.

    Have a nice day

  6. Lara, you are a fail troll, now either contribute or leave. Thanks 

People do look to blame something, but why would a kid commit suicide with perfectly written suicide notes saying he wants to join his fellow gamers in the after life?

  7. Wait, let's not be biased against metal and rap....How many people got depressed and hung themselves listening to stories about their truck quitting, being fired, spouse leaving, dog running away. Blame that country music...

13 year old, Xiao Yi jumped from a 24 story building. He was addicted to "Warcraft 3" he left perfectly worded suicide notes.

  9. You do realize the percentage of gamers that commit violent crimes is incredibly low, right? A fraction of a percent, drop of water in the ocean kind of low.

Every person mentioned in the original post had/has mental issues, most involving an inability to separate fantasy from reality. They could have just as easily fixated on Hello Kitty Island Adventure, or a Carebears movie for that matter.

  10. "They "used" to be normal, until they met gaming"

    Oh my gods.

Gaming can trigger psychosis, but it will not cause it.

Do not blame the video games. Blame the people, and their loved ones for not detecting any disturbances in their mental health, and not getting the proper help for it.

  11. None of the people mention had mental problems 
Until something triggered in their mental health after gaming for subsequent hours. These examples are very rare, I'll admit that, but their is a very small chance it could happen to anyone. It's a near impossible possibility

  12. So is what you are trying to tell the world is that you are getting ready to kill yourself because you are addicted to pimd? If so, it's not worth it, it's just a game. Put down your idevice and interact with real human beings. It's not hard, start by saying 'Hi'.

  13. Video games are not the problem people are if some guy started jumping around on boxes and nonstop eating mushrooms while stomping on turtles would you blame that on video games?

  14. says the one with over 4000 wins

  15. Way to blame Columbine on video games. Real smart move there bud.

  16. Actually, the only case I know off hand is Columbine. Both boys did have depression.

And how are you to know the status of their mental health? Did you know any of these people? Do you know anything of psychology, especially to the degree to diagnose someone? No.

I, however, do know a little something about psychology. These things just don't pop out of nowhere. Usually there is genetic factors, but not in all cases. But in order for most psychotic breaks to occur, there is usually a predisposition(er, sp?), and then the video game can trigger the psychosis.

Again, video games can trigger psychosis, but not cause. There is a difference.

  17. What does 4,000 wins have to do with anything? I'm not hanging from the rafters in my garage am I? Nope, I'm saying that if you resort to killing yourself you are either mentally ill or weak minded.

  18. Actually, the Columbine shooters, for one, had documented mental issues. Get your facts straight.

  19. Listen to smarts ^^^^^
