  5. Easy Italian Beef stew/ braised beef

700gr of beef good for stewing
    An onion
    clove of garlic
Can of peeled tomatoes or 4 tomatoes without the peel)
Little can of concentrated Tomato purée
    Glass of red wine
500 ml bouillon (stock) from a tablet
    Flour
    Butter
    Salt and pepper
    Italian herbs of choice

Chop the onion. Cut the meat in cubes. Put salt pepper and flour on it. Then melt butter in your stewing pan (crock pot/ le Creuset) when it's brown put onions and meat in and bake on a high flame so the meat browns.
Then add garlic (chopped or pressed). And add the tomatoes and the puree

Bake it for a few mins. Then add the red wine.
Turn the gass low and let it stand for about 5mins. Then add bouillon and the herbs. Close the lid and simmer on very low heat for at least 3hrs.

If the sauce is too thin. Bind with (corn)flour or reduce it.

Served with pasta, boiled potatoes or rice.

  6. I love to cook. I make anything from Swedish Meatballs with my mom (it's a tradition and takes all day long) to stews, pasta, pizza. I do everything from scratch. My daughters favorite is my spaghetti and she loves beef stroganoff.

So here's my recipe for homemade Spaghetti I always make a lot and freeze the left overs for easy winter meals.

    Sauce
    8 cans of Tomato Sauce
    Garlic
    1 whole onion
    a dash of olive oil
    a pinch of sugar
    Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil and fresh oregano if you don't have it fresh dried works too
About three table spoons of Parmesan cheese
    3 carrots
    3 stalks celery
    Two tablespoons of butter

Okay so wash all of your veggies and herbs, pat them dry with a paper towel. Peel your carrots, and cut your veggies in even chunks. Turn your stove onto medium heat and in a big pot melt butter. Add the onions, garlic, carrots and celery. Add salt and pepper. Let this cook down for about five minutes while you chop the herbs finely make sure you leave enough herbs to put in the meatballs. I chop the whole bunch and leave a quarter for the meatballs. Add the tomato sauce, olive oil, sugar, cheese and herbs, and salt and pepper. I let the sauce cook all day on low. You'll want to take a hand mixer or a hand blender and make the sauce smooth before you serve it.

    Meatballs

I use 2 lbs of ground turkey but you can use beef or a mix of both
    Fresh parsley
    Olive oil
    Salt and pepper
Mozzarella cheese I use string cheese but any type works
    1 onion chopped
1 cup Bread crumbs (Panko or like me I use ground up croutons or you can use pre made seasoned breadcrumbs.)
    Fresh basil and fresh oregano
    Two table spoons Parmesan cheese

Mix meat, herbs, onion, salt and pepper, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, olive oil in a bowl. Cut the mozzarella in small chunks. Size the meatballs to your liking, roll the meat around the mozzarella cheese make sure no cheese is visible. Bake at 300 for 30 minutes and then let put the meatballs into the sauce for about 40-60 minutes.

Serve over your choice of pasta. I know it seems involved but it takes me about 30-45 minutes to prepare depending on what I have going on and it's so worth it. You can get the kids involved too my daughter loves stuffing the meatballs.

  8. Feliz 
Will you make me a 4 course meal? 

  9. 7 layer dip ?
I typically do this by sight without measuring so if you remake it just estimate what you'll need especially since it's supposed to be like a huge party batch
    Refrained beans
    Bob Evans spicy sausage
    Ground turkey
    Sour cream
1 1/2 Taco Bell seasoning mix
    Onion
    Green onion
    Cilantro
    3 avocado
    Lime juice
    Salsa
Pepper jack cheese, Colby, and cheddar
And a 5x11 disposable carrying thing...you could do it also in a really really large casserole dish as well 

Start out browning the sausage with the onion cut up in a pan make sure all the sausage is brown and the onions are fully cooked. Lay that out as the bottom layer in your dish then brown the turkey with the Taco Bell seasoning on it warm the refried beans and mix them in with the turkey lay down the pepper jack cheese that's your second layer next add the turkey on top that's your third layer, then comes the salsa 4th layer then your sour cream is your 5th layer mush up your avocado with the cilantro and a bit of lime juice that's your 6th layer then spread the cheddar and Colby cheeses on the top with a little bit of green onion and  you got yourself a dip  men love it...?

  10. My favorite cheesecake lol
The main ingredient is cream cheese and biscuits^^

  11. Fat club quiche:

Large tub low fat cottage cheese
    Packet bacon (rind removed)
    One large red onion
    Fry light
    Handful of mushrooms
    4 eggs

Spay fry light in trying pan. Apprx 6 squirts should do. Chop onions and mushrooms, add in pan. Fry until browned.

Crack eggs into a jug and beat until mixed.

Chop bacon into small pieces (take off the rind). I find scissors easiest. Add to pan with mushrooms and onions. Pour in eggs. Add cottage cheese and stir mixture well.

Pour into an ovenproof dish and cook on gas mark 6 (200 degrees) for about 40 mins or until top is golden brown. Great hot or cold and since it has no pastry it's low fat 

  12. Avocado tacos are my favorite but I love avocado so some people may not like this unless you also have a unhealthy avocado obsession.

    3 avocados
    Lime juice table spoon
    Green jalopeno hot sauce
Crumbled feta could also use grumbled goats cheese as well  1 cup
3 tortillas I like whole wheat or corn but I guess you could use flour if you couldn't find
    Diced red onion 1/4 cup
Cilantro only a very tiny bit
A little bit of mild salsa only probably 1 1/2 table spoons

Mush the avocado, add the lime juice, salsa, cilantro, red onion, and goats cheese mix it up well! Spread in tortilla add the hot sauce to taste 
