~~~~~~~~Ashley's POV~~~~~~~ In study hall at the end of the day, Tina and I were doing homework together. "I have a date with Chris today. But I don't know if I'll choose him… I really like Luke too…" She looked at me skeptically. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asked. "You're acting kind of funny…" "Yeah, I am." I reassured her. But inside I was panicking. How was I going to tell Ashley? If she chose Luke, then how was I going to live with them in love? Should I tell her now? Should I never tell her?" "Ashley!!" Tina waved her hand in front of my face. "Sorry," I mumbled. "I was just thinking about something." "Are you sure you're all right? You keep getting this confused look." Tina said concernedly. "Yeah, I was just confused about my homework. I'm going to the bathroom." I got up to get a pass. When I came back, the bell rung before Tina could ask me any more questions. Phew. Saved by the bell. ~~~~~~~~Tina's POV~~~~~~~~ "That was fantastic," I told Chris as we left the movie theater. "I sure hope so," he grinned, opening his car door for me. I smiled back. "Thank you, my gentleman." "You're welcome, milady." He bowed. Laughing, I got into the car. A few minutes later, Chris pulled into my driveway. "Thanks for the awesome time," I said, getting out of the car. He got out of the car too. "You're welcome. I had a great time too." He touched my waist, sending shivers through my body. Was he going to kiss me? Apparently realizing what he was about to do, Chris broke the connection and shuffled his feet. "Well I should get going now…" He climbed into his car. As I watched, waving, his car pulled out of the driveway, crunching the gravel. When I got inside, the spot Chris touched on my waist was still tingling. Touching the spot, I felt the pocket. Wait a second… there was something in it? I pulled it out. It was a piece of paper. A note. A letter. Tina, I just want you to know that I love you, even though you probably already figured that out by now. I don't love you just because you are the most beautiful person in this universe, but you're also funny. You are the only one who can make me laugh so hard, water comes out of my nose. Yes I know, gross. You're the person I smile to at night, the person I always see in the stars, watching over me. You're the reason I get up in the morning. You are my life. I would give up the most important thing in my life, all of my secrets away, for an hour with you. I would never cheat on you, and stay loyal right until the end. I will not let Luke win without a fight. I will keep trying, and never let you go. I love you. -Chris
