As promised Salrion looked in horror as the assassin was about to kill the girl. He had to do something and quick. He flicked his wrist and a silver glimmer flew through the air. The knife hit the assassins wrist making him drop his weapon. He turned his gaze towards Salrion and glared. Salrion didn't look at him but was instead taking the girls hand "Come with me if you want to live. No time to explain" he said. The girl nodded and let herself be dragged along by Salrion. The assassin had now gotten reinforcements and were following in pursuit behind Salrion and the girl. Three assassins in all. Knives flew around them as they ran ducking in alleys and avoiding crowds. One knife struck Salrion in the shoulder as an assassin managed to wait on a rooftop in front of them. He staggered but regained his speed. He burst through a house and out the Blackfoot as the confused housekeepers just watched. They ducked in another alley and hugged against a wall. Salrions breathing was a little bit hard from the sprinting. "I think we lost them," he said between breaths. The girl looked at him concerned. "You're hurt...." she said as she gently touched the knife in his shoulder. "It's nothing... It's not even poisoned.." The girl slowly pulls the knife out as Salrion grits his teeth in pain. She pours a clear liquid on the wound and then bandages it. "There." "Thank you," Salrion said. The girl smiled. "I owe you my life. It is but a small favor. Who are you and who were those men?" Salrion sighed. "I am Salrion Grayson and those were assassins from my guild. When I saw you last night you were my target. I didn't kill you and now they're after you. What is your name anyway?" A look of understand crosses her face. "I see...My name is Avangeline. Tell me...Why didn't you kill me?" She looks back into his eyes like she had done the previous night. Salrion blushes slightly. "I don't know...Listen that's not important right now. We need to get you somewhere safe. I know a place..."
