4. If you want to do alternate colors, you have to do them separately, like so:
[*color=blue]H[*/color][*color=silver]e[*/color][*color=blue]y[*/color]

Except without the asterisk (*) So it comes out like this: Hey

As you can imagine, writing a sentence can get pretty tedious.

5. Let's stop spamming my thread now, okay? Sounds good:)

6. Ok sorry about that lol

7. I think that the length you have them is good! It's a great story it makes you want to keep reading!

8. Tarru, no space between light and blue. Thank you:)

Morgan's POV

"We can't just keep running, Derek," the melodious voice of Amy faintly reaches my ears.

I pause from dusting and listen carefully to Mr. and Mrs. Fontana, the couple who hired me as their housekeeper.

"Why not?"

I slowly peek around the corner. Amy's brassy golden hair, the same color as Selene's, is coiled in a tight bun. Her aqua eyes are trained on Derek's emerald ones.

Selene had gotten those eyes from him.

Derek runs a hand through his already mussed almond hair, looking at her intently. "If we keep moving, they can't find us."

"What about Selene?" Amy protested. "It isn't good to keep switching schools. In the summer was fine, but now it just won't work. And she'll get suspicious. She doesn't know what happened."

"Maybe we can stay here. No one was around when it happened. They won't be able to trace the murder to us."

"They'll keep her clothes as evidence. My fingerprints are on her."

I furrow my brow and inch closer to them. What are they talking about?

"If they catch us, just say that… I don't know, we met her earlier," Derek groans. "I can't believe we murdered someone."

"And an innocent toddler, no less," Amy sighs.

I jerk back with surprise. Mr. and Mrs. Fontana are-or at least, appear to be-typical parents. Kind, caring, humorous, and completely devoted to their child. They're the complete opposite of murderers.

"If you hadn't decided to go up to that cliff, we wouldn't even be in this mess." Derek's voice is rising.

"You were the one who fell into me!" Amy screeches.

"But you were the one who pushed her!" Derek shouts back.

"It's just as much your fault as it is mine! If it weren't for your c-" Amy abruptly cuts off and swivels her head towards me.

I am standing, paralyzed with terror, in the middle of the doorway.

Derek rises and advances towards me, glaring.

"You're fired."

Selene's POV

"Are you okay?" A pair of chestnut colored eyes filled with concern are looking at me.

I jump, realizing I had been hyperventilating. We are seated alphabetically, so this must be Alyssa Foxmara.

"I'm fine," I respond shakily.

She brushes a lock of auburn hair out of her face. "Are you sure?"

" Yes. Don't worry about me."

"Alright…" She turns away.

I feel myself warming up to her. She doesn't immediately trust me, like everyone else. Instead, she appears almost wary of me.

I glance down at the note.

I know what happened with your parents. And I intend to tell EVERYONE about it, unless you do exactly what I want.

Selene's POV

"I come from Autumnvale, California," she remarks, chomping on her sandwich. "I'm new here, just moved."

"So am I! I come from Autumnvale, too!" This feels wonderful. It's the first time I've talked to someone in a while that's not about their secrets.

"Really? Everyone here seems to love you." She glances around the cavernous cafeteria. The dim fluorescent lights are illuminating the mass of students, all covertly glancing in my direction. Probably waiting to tell me secrets.

"Well, I guess I'm naturally likable." She doesn't seem to notice my nervous laughter. "When I first moved here, a girl invited me to her back to school party. I got to know everyone there." It's technically true.

"I wonder what it is about you that everyone likes."

****. I quickly change the subject. "So, do you have any brothers or sisters?"

Alyssa glances down at her remaining bite of grilled cheese. "I… um…" I can tell by her disconsolate expression that it's something she doesn't want to talk about.

"I myself am an only child. You don't have to talk about it, if you don't want to."

"It's just… she passed away last summer," she says mournfully.

I nod sympathetically. "I'm so sorry."

"And she was only two. Had her whole life ahead of her to live."

I want to ask what happened, but I wonder if that would be insensitive. I decide it would be.

"Can I tell you a secret?"

"Sure." I suppress a groan. Here it comes.

"Something horrible happened at the night of her death, and I'm the only one who knows about it. I was so distraught, I started smoking, doing drugs, and getting into gangs. Then we moved. I'm not sure if my parents were even aware that I was doing all those things."

"What happened?"

"I… can't tell. Sorry."

I smile inwardly. She redeemed herself. Finally. Someone's keeping a secret from me.

Savannah's POV

"Gained some weight lately?" Sighing, I turn to see Adeline smirking at me. Popular people can get away with anything.

"Sure seems like it." She laughs, flipping her long red hair.

I narrow my jade colored eyes. "No, I didn't."

"I wonder if your pudgy little hands can pick up all those books?"

"You wouldn't." I clutch my binders to my chest. Serves me right to bring my books to lunch.

"Oh, that sounds like a challenge." Her two wannabe friends, Brittany and Meghan, chuckle nastily.

I glance around the deserted hallway outside the cafeteria. Of course no one would be here.

In one fluid motion, Adeline stepped forward and shoved my stuff to the ground.

My heart pounding, I slowly bent down. Adeline swiftly dug her leather boot into my back, sending me toppling to the ground. "Bet you can't pick it up now," she taunted.

They strode down the hall, cackling. Tears of shame and humiliation ran down my face. I wished the floor could swallow me up.

If only I was popular.

My voice tainted with venom, I spat out, "you'll pay, *****."
