Elijah's POV As I walked into the school, I struggled to not scan the hallways for Emma. I wondered were she was, is she had forgiven that sad excuse for a guy, Salrion. I walked briskly towards my first class, hitting into someone, and in seconds I knew who it was judging by the sparks that bounced through my skin were we touched. I held my arms out catching Emma as she stumbled backwards. She stuttered looking up at me and froze in my arms. I curiously pulled her up to her feet, letting her go with a gulp as her big blue eyes stayed piercing into mine. "Hello Emma.." I muttered. Emma's eyes filled with an emotion as they narrowed. "Elijah, it's nice to see you again.." She said with a low voice. I looked at her clutching my hands behind my back to stop from reaching out to her. Why was My life so unfair? "You seem.. Off.. Are you ok?" I asked analyzing her a bit closer. "She's fine, likes it concerns you." Another voice said from behind her. I glanced in the direction, gritting my teeth together as I took in Salrion. "Salrion I thought I said to not come around me." Emma said turning to glare at Salrion with a broken look that had me in agony. I wanted to kill this boy bothering Emma so badly it almost hurt to stand still and just watch. "But Emma please, I love you, you got to believe that." Salrion said with a begging tone in his voice. "How could I believe that when you cheated on me, if I can't trust you it won't be possible for us to ever be the same." Emma said turning back to look at me. "I think it would be wise to leave boy, before I lose my temper." I said giving Salrion a death glare. Salrion threw me daggers, and was about to say something when Chris and Miranda came over to me. Miranda fluttered her eyes at Salrion, hiding her smug smirk as she glanced between Emma and I. "This is the girl you cheated on me with, I hope she was worth it." Emma said coldly and turned walking away from all of us. Salrion glared at each of us, looking tense. "We know what you are, and we will kill you." Salrion said in a low voice before turning and walking away. We all looked at each other and snickered. I'm sure that mutt will stand a good chance against us. Little did he know not all demons are afraid of wolves. Some are much powerful.
Justin's POV "So the demons have returned." I said frowning as I moved around the slime covered food our dear lunch ladies forced us to eat. "That's right, and they are here, walking around this school like actual people." Jareth said slamming his fist down on the table. "Who?" I asked taking sneaky looks to the right and left of our table. Salrion cleared his throat, nodding towards the lunch line were four people stood out greatly. They all stood very straight, and tall, a feeling of intimidation in their walk, and with threatening, yet graceful movements. "Those are the demons." Salrion said with his fist clenched around his bottle of water. "Elijah, Chris, Miranda, and I heard from a few gossip queens the new girl is Farah." Jareth said with an edge in his voice. I nodded slowly, keeping my eyes off their direction to look at the guys. "Justin what are we going to do, these beasts are dangerous, think about Lily, I can't let her be around this." Jareth said his face turning red with anger. No doubt his temper was beginning to flare. "And Emma, how can I protect her from them, not only will she not talk to me, but she's already friends with one of them." Salrion said just as angry. I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose and exhaling, a bit stressed at this sudden issue. "I understand your both upset, I have Taylor to think about as well, but the worst we could do is get upset and do something stupid." I said talking calmly and seriously. "So what do we do then?" Jareth persisted. "We wait, do some undercover work, find their weaknesses, why they are here, and keep the girls clear from them." I said simply. Jareth and Salrion looked at each other and sighed, nodding slowly. Good, now all we had to do was wait, and this would all be over. Emma's POV I sighed as I walked into the lunch room. Now was the hard part, finding a place to sit at lunch were I wouldn't have to deal with Salrion. "Come on Em, let's sit back in the corner so you won't be bothered." Lily said guiding me to the back. Taylor followed quietly behind, watching indifferently at everyone. "Are you sure you guys don't want to go sit with your boyfriends?" I sighed sitting down. "And let you all alone, I don't think so." Lily said with a smile, sitting down next to me. Taylor just stared over towards Justin as she sat in front of me. "Yeah Em, chicks before dic*ks." Taylor muttered. I sighed looking down at my food, not really having the will to eat, I just listened to the talking around me. "God, they aren't even looking over at us, guys are such.. Jerks." Lily huffed, crossing her arms. "They must have something real important to talk about to ignore us.. Well it better be." Taylor's eyes narrow. "Excuse me?" A smooth voice said from behind me. I turned, and jumped in shock to see Elijah's handsome face in front of me. "Umm hi Elijah." I choked out, finding my voice. "Would you mind if we could join you all for lunch?" The girl next to Elijah said, her features all darkened with intimidation that made me uncomfortable. Before I could even answer Elijah was already sitting down beside me, watching me as he leaned back in his chair. "Sure I guess." I said looking between him and the others, narrowing my eyes at Miranda. They all sat down now, and a tense awkwardness hit over the table. "Your the girl fooling around with Sal huh."Lily said for once in a flat tone. Miranda's strange purple eyes seemed to brighten as she turned them on Lily. "Actually, he kissed me for some reason, I didn't want it, I have a boyfriend that I love dearly." She spoke leaning on the boy beside her. I glanced at Elijah a few times. Was it really safe being here? As if to answer my own thoughts I watched as Justin, Salrion and Jareth came over. Oh boy Bump? Any ideas for the next update? Fight?
