I know!!!!!! It's Jeremy's friend!!The drunk guy that say a flipping chicken crossing the road,Max!!!! But if I'm wrong Bump.
Alex's POV I was cut off by the door opening. I started shaking in fear. Jeremy sensed this and took my hands in his. "What's wrong?" he said, concern in his eyes. "Hello, Alex," said the same voice as that night. "You...." I said angrily. "You did this to me!" "What!?" said Jeremy, shocked. "You did this!?" "Oh, what are you talking about, Alex?" the person said. "You must have bumped your head." "No!" I screamed. "You did this! YOU DID THIS TO ME! HELP! SOMEONE ARREST HER! SOMEONE ARREST...... MY SISTER." Oh snap
Alex's POV Three male nurses rushed into the room and grabbed onto my sister. I just lay there and shook in fear. I felt Jeremy's grip on my hands tighten as if to say he'll protect me. The men took her away, and took her to the police station. After about half an hour, a man walked in. "We're going to do some DNA tests on the bat," he said. "And we'll search the crime scene for any other clues. Until then, your sister, Mary, will be held in custody." "Thank you," I sighed in relief. "That makes me feel so much better." "Good," he said. "I'm Caleb, by the way." I might have imagined it....but did he just...wink at me? One week later... "Alex," said Caleb, walking into my hospital room. Yeah. I'm still in the hospital. "Yes?" I asked patiently. "The results are back from the DNA tests," he said. "And?" I asked hopefully. "They were a match," he said silently.
Alex's POV I stared at Caleb in disbelief. Jeremy's grip on my hands tightened. "Y-you're sure?" I staggered. "Positive," he said confidently. His mouth opened to say more words, but none came out, and he left. "Why would she do something like this to you!?" he yelled. "I-I don't know..." I whimpered. "I've got to see her." "No," he said firmly. "You have to rest." "I can't rest until I find out!" I objected. "I need to know!" I started getting up, unplugging the IVs from my arms, and headed towards the door. "Alex-" Jeremy said. I slammed the door behind me to save me some time, and bolted out the front doors of the hospital. The jail was a couple blocks down, so I walked there. "May I help you?" moaned a scraggly old woman with no enthusiasm. "I'm here to see my sister," I said. "Mary Porter." "I'll take you back to her," she groaned. What a lively woman. After walking for what seemed like forever, we came to a stop. In the cell, I saw a bright orange jumpsuit crouched on a seat in the middle. "Mary...." I spoke. She quickly turned around and examined me. She started bursting into tears. "I didn't do this!" she cried. "I saw you, Mary!" I shouted. "I-I'm not Mary..." she trailed off. "Then who are you!?" I screamed. "I'm her twin sister," she said.
