Simple question for everyone...Why do we accuse people of plagiarizing another person's artwork when we know nothing about the person that posted the artwork? I mean in that thread this is my drawings or something like that, players and users immediately accused the OP of copying another person's artwork. I'm not saying it is her artwork or anything like that but I would just like for us to consider. Why not stay calm and consider that maybe the two users are the same person? Maybe they want their artwork to be even more recognized and decided to post it on a different website or an app. So then if this is true, you're accusing the rightful owner of copying those drawings off of someone else when in reality that it is their drawings to begin with. If you are unsure if it is theirs or not then why not simply ask a question? Sure people lie but it's better to trust and regret rather than deny and regret (Yup Sword Art Online baby ). I'm not trying to cause trouble or anything, it's just I see it too often and it made me wonder. There's a 50/50 percent chance of a person copying a drawing off of someone else and the drawing being theirs to begin with. Yes I get it is confusing to read ? Just ignore my babbling if you want to. And I mean no disrespect to the players who said that the drawings didn't belong to OP, I can see where you're coming from too.
Well, I think their accusation was valid because the signatures on the drawings were different and the styles were very different. I don't think she should have been outright accused like that, though.
Yeah the signatures were most definitely different. For a while is was NA then it changed. Also most of the pictures had completely different styles about them, unless your Leonardo Da Vinci or Van Gogh your pictures look stolen. Another thing that caught my eye is how a few of the pics are screenshots while others are on paper or the full picture.
I never said it was hers though, just thought maybe we shouldn't outright accuse like that. I can see the difference between the pictures throughout the whole post. I'm an artist myself and I would get a bit offended if someone accused me of copying an artwork that was mine. Although, I wouldn't want to admit that I was offended so I would probably just say "Whatever." I'm a bit unsure about Rps too, it seems that a lot of players are saying no to them right now
In her defense. I'd have to say that artists can draw in different styles, depending on what they'd like to draw For example These are all drawings I've drawn. Different styles, different materials, different formats, depending on what was available at the time and how much effort I wanted to put into the drawings As for the signatures, they tend to develop over time and change according to the artist's mood. Here's some of the signatures I've used Most of the time, I forget a signature altogether and/or write the name of the character I'm drawing Sorry if the pictures are big ?
More spam and has anyone noticed the really bad plotted stories with horrible grammar and spelling lately? ?
We need to restore ff to its former glory. That means writing amazing stories, so the other amazing writers on PimD will be magically drawn here to write more amazing stories and make ff super active and wonderful.
