  1. Guide to Beta wars

Alright, so lots of people have had questions about the beta wars. So I'll be taking you through some of the information.

    • [*] What is a beta war?
      [*] Basics
      [*] How to sign up.
[*] How to cancel your sign up.

    What is a beta war?

A beta war is the testing of a new system war that ATA is developing for PimD. So when we participate, we're helping ATA fine tune their new system so that they'll be able to release the new war system soon.

Beta wars are equally matched wars. The matching is done by the system, not the players. So you'll be put into clubs that PimD has made for the Beta wars, and you don't get to decide who you war with or against. There is a two hour period after sign ups where matching occurs.

Your clubs for beta wars (The ones PimD creates) will probably be disbanded a few times during matching. Once everyone has been matched, you'll be in a club, and whatever time is left during the "match time" will be your countdown to war. Remember this time could be 1 minute to 1:59(Hours:Minutes) hours based on how quickly the system matches.

    Basics

    • Beta wars are two hours long.
    • They're system test wars that match rosters to make wars even.
    • You cannot hit farms during matching or war, however tutors can still be hired.
    • You must leave your club before sign up time runs out.
    • You may use two dn(Or use 10 ec twice to fully regen).
    • You get boxing gloves for participating and tiara

Please remember that beta means test, so these are testing for a new system. This means there may be errors, bugs, glitching, sometimes uneven rosters, not everyone will be matched even if they sign up, among other things. Understand that when you choose to sign up, you choose to deal with whatever goes wrong because this is to test the system, so that ATA may perfect this new system.

    How to sign up!

Signing up is a fairly easy process. But be aware that the beta war rectangle only appears on your profile when there are going to be beta wars. I'll be posting screenshots on how to sign up for beta wars for iDevice and droids! Credit for the droid screenshots go to -SIN-Sweet-Tootsie

And that is beta wars for you!

My apologies that the screen shots are a tad blurry, this happens when I resize.

Thank you to -SIN-Sweet-Tootsie for providing the droid screenshots.

Huge thank you to Ata for bringing beta wars back. I'm excited for them, as well as excited for when the new system is released.

Sorry if a similar thread has been posted in the past, but there isn't one stickied, and in light of the fact that we have beta wars back, figured I would make one quickly so that the players with questions could easily ask their questions and/or find their answers in one place.
