Sings softly as I continue burning my arm and walk away crying-" just gonna stand there and watch me burn it's alright I like the way it hurts.."
-I arrive at the field and the girls were huddled up in one circle- "Ladies! Get your butts off the grass and start practicing the routine! Where is the co-captain?" -She walk to the front and apologized for being careless. After that, we start practicing the routine-
-I walk into my house and up to my room. I sit on my bed and take a box from under it. I open it up. It's filled with letters and pictures. I dig through it finding what I was looking for. The friendship ring she gave me-
My parents call the school, conversing about my injuries and about a special request, a responsible student to come and just review me of what I'm missing out on. They agree and my parents call me afterwards to inform me of that.
-I clench it in my hand and sigh- "Who am I kidding. She probably doesn't even have the one I gave her anymore...."
-The sun went down and I dismissed them. I make a detour to the park before going home. I sit on the bench facing the lake- I miss this place...I'm so glad I came back
-I touch my necklace that has a ring on it- I wonder who gave this to me, I don't remember -My phone rang- "Hello?"
-I awake to find myself in my brothers room i quickly stand up and try my hardest to sneak out before I wake him up. I walk slowly out the door before pacing the hall.
I yawn, getting up for a drink from the vending machine. I get a cold beverage, despite the cold weather outside. I walk out the hospital, sitting on a bench as I look at the stars, holding my drink.
"Hey Lindsay....It's Sal again. From the hospital....I know it must be weird for someone you don't remember to be calling you....I was just wondering if we could meet up somewhere. I have some stuff to show you...."
-I see Jay on a bench outside and debate wether or not to go out there. He broke my heart.. do I still like him?
-I smile a small spark of hope coming back- "Alright....That sounds good....Oh and Lindsay....Thank you for trusting me."
-I lean against a wall, before I slowly slide to the floor, my legs out in front of me. I yawn and sit there, thinking.
