  1. ~Chapter 2~

    I stared back at her with a surprised expression. "H-h-hello. W-w-what a-are you d-d-doing?" I stuttered. She continued to looked at me with wide eyes, her expression looked like someone who was caught doing something they weren't supposed to do. She suddenly regains her composer and glared at me. "Nothing. Why would I want to do anything that has to do with you? I was just looking outside and happened to noticed that you were drawing something. Besides it's not anything special, I've seen better. Yours is pathetic." She growled harshly. I looked back down to the picture and noticed some mistakes. "You're right it's not good, I think I need to fix it up." I said without realizing. I looked back at her to see her still to glaring at me. "Whatever." She said as she sit back down and goes back to talking to her friends.
    The bell rang and everyone piled out of the class in a hurry. I slowly stacked my things, trying to avoid the crowd. I went out of the class, avoiding all the popular kids and Miranda. I felt a sudden push and landed into the lockers, dropping all my things. A roar of laughter erupted in front of me, I looked up to see Miranda's best friend, Vanessa standing there pointing at me and laughing with everyone else. "Better watch where you're going loser or you'll get hurt." Vanessa mocked and Miranda and everyone else laughed like it was the funniest thing they had heard. I picked up my things and walked away from them but got pulled back into the locker. "I wasn't finished talking to you loser." Vanessa growled. "Okay so it seemed to me that you've forgotten your place in the Social Pyramid. We're at the very top and you're at the very bottom so that means you don't talk to us unless we tell you to. I heard you were talking to my good friend Miranda during first period, don't talk to her. Do you hear me? You're not allowed to talk to her or even look at her. If I see you even looking at her or any of us I will make your life a living hell. Do you understand?" Vanessa said coldly. I don't respond and walked away, ignoring the pain in my heart once again as I walked to my next class.
    The rest of the day went by slowly with insults made by the popular kids. The last bell finally rang and I got up and walked to the art room. The room was empty and I put up a canvas and started to slowly sketch a face. An hour passed and I finally finished the perfectly drawn sketch of Miranda, I stared at it and sighed. I cleaned up all the art equipments and put the picture away. I walked to the parking lot, a cold breeze passed by and I looked over to my right to see Miranda standing there clutching herself. I made my way over to her with a worried expression. "Are you okay?" I asked. She jumped slightly and looked at me with a surprised expression, but the expression quickly turned into a glare. "Why are you talking to me? Didn't you hear what Vanessa said? You can't talk to me unless I say so. Want to know a secret? Do what she says." She growled. I looked at her with an amused expression. "Want to know a secret of mine as well? I'm not scared of Vanessa, I just intend to ignore her every time she talks to me or threatens me." I replied. She looked at me surprised, she clutched herself tighter as another cold breeze blows over. I take off my jacket and put it on her, she looked at my jacket then back at me with a confused expression. "You looked cold. I'm used to the cold so I'm fine." I told her. "I don't need your charity." She growled but doesn't take the jacket off. "Why are you still here?" I asked. "Cheerleading practice, not that you would know that." She hissed. I stared at her for a minute. "Miranda, there's no cheerleading practice today." I said.
    She looked at me surprised again and opened her mouth but nothing came out. "Do you need a ride home?" I questioned. She thought it over for a few seconds and slowly nodded. I gestured her to follow me as I walked over to my white sports car, she gaped at me for a couple of minutes but remembered who she was. "This is your car? I would have thought that you have something that looked like a junk pile." She sneered. I didn't answered and opened the door for her, she hesitantly walked over to the passenger's seat and sat down. I closed the door and went over to the driver's seat and got in, I started the engine.

    ~Chapter 3~

    I looked at her, "What's your address?" I asked. She stared back at me and realization spread her face that she hasn't told me her address, she told me it and I started to drive towards her house. The drive was silent and awkward, I tried to focus on the road but I would glanced over at her from time to time. My heart was beating like crazy because she was here with me in my car. She looked around the car, trying to keep herself occupied. "So how come you didn't have a ride today?" I asked. She looked over at me and glared, clearly annoyed. "Look just because I said that you could give me a ride home doesn't mean you can talk to me like we're friends." She growled. I nodded my head and stopped talking, understanding that she didn't want to talk about it even though she didn't said it out loud. I continued to stared straight ahead as we came closer to her house.
    After a few more minutes of silent we finally arrived at her house, I opened my door and got out to walked over to her door and opened it up for her. She stepped out of the car, her cheeks a is a light red barely visible. "Bye." I said and walked back to the driver's seat, I watched her entered her house before I left. I drive away as she closed the door, trying to calm my racing heart.
    I got home and put away my things and took a quick shower. I started the burner in the kitchen and cooked a meal for me. After the meal, I walked to my room, over to the balcony and looked outside, thinking. I looked at the stars and wondered what I had gotten myself into when a sudden pain erupted and I made my way over to the desk in my room to get something but fell down before I could reach it.

    ~Chapter 4~

    I reached my hand over to the desk and grabbed my meds, I took the meds and swallowed down some water. I got up slightly panting from the sudden situation, I went over to my computer and started writing a short story. After a few hours, I slowly got up and went over to the bed and laid down. I turned off the lift and stared at the stars on my ceiling, the lights glowing looked exactly like the Milky Way. I thought about the day and the events that had happened that day over and over again in my head. Images of Miranda swirled around in my mind and stayed there as I continued to think about it. I sighed and closed my eyes, slowly falling asleep for the first time in days.
    I jumped up, awakened by the nightmare, slightly panting. My heart racing, sweat rolling off my forehead. I looked around the room and rubbed my temples, trying to get rid of the memory of the nightmare. I laid back down and stared at the ceiling again, feeling like I'm floating in space. Thoughts of Miranda began to swirled in my head as I continued to stared at the ceiling. I got up and went back to my computer desk and got out my sketchbook and started to slowly draw again. After two hours of drawing, I looked at the picture of Miranda and sighed. I went back to my bed and laid down once more, my eyes slowly closing again as I fall back to deep sleep.
    "Please! No! Leave her alone! Please! Take me instead!" A woman voice screamed. Tears rolling down her eyes as she pleaded with the stranger.
    "Take me instead! Just leave her! Please! I beg of you!" She pleaded with the man. The man laughed a her with a deep voice, looking at the woman with maniacal eyes. He liked her away and continued to laughed at her. "Begging will do no good." He bellowed. "I'll kill all of you!" He yelled, raising a gun at her."

    I jumped up, awakened by the same nightmare again.

    Chapter 5

    I drove to school and parked my car, I got out, my hoodie is on, always covering my face. I walked to the school's entrance but got pulled I've too the side harshly. I turned and saw Vanessa and a bunch of popular kids glaring at me. "I told you stay away from us and Miranda!" Vanessa growled. A boy bear hugged me tightly holding me in place. A fist met with my stomach harshly, my mouth closed, trying not to give a pained groan out loud. "You always have this hoodie on, no one ever sees your face. Why don't we changed that? I'm going to show everyone the ugly face that goes with the loser." Vanessa hissed. I see her hand reaching towards my hoodie, but my hand moved quickly and stopped her, I pushed it away as freed myself from the boy's grasp. I looked up at their surprised expressions, my hoodie still on. "Vanessa, don't think I'm afraid of you just because I never respond to you when you talk to me. I don't respond because you're not worth my time." I said. Grabbing my bag and walked away from their stunned faces.
    The announcements came on as soon as the bell rang for first period. Remember that tryouts for the new Archery club is today after school. I looked out the window as the announcement continued. After a slow day of school, I walked over to the new Archery club. I looked around a saw that a lot of people came including Miranda's boyfriend and Vanessa and a few more popular kids. My eyes landed on Miranda, she looked over at me with an annoyed expression. I quickly looked away and approached the sign up sheet where all the popular kids are. They all looked at me with hate, Vanessa growled at me as she saw me coming. "What are you doing here?" She hissed. I ignored her as I signed up for the audition. I walked away and sat down in one of the seats. "Raven? Is that you?" A voiced exclaimed in excitement. I looked up to see Lily.

    }*{
    Who is this Lily?  For those of you confused about the whole hoodie thing then I will gladly explain.  Raven, our heroine always wears a hoodie no matter what, no one knows what she really looks like in the school and she never takes her hoodie off, the jacket that she lens to Miranda was a just that a jacket that she had over the hoodie. And the hoodie never falls off even if she's beaten or pushed against things but it will come off later on in the story.  I'm so evil. 
