What is this? Another UPDATE? YES IT IS! Cara's POV Meeting Josh Josh smiled at me and I smiled back. He was handing out sodas when he said, "Want this one? I knew we would have company." "Sure," I take the drink. "So, how does this all work? Obviously, Zara is the leader. What is everyone else's titles?" Zara spoke first, "Yeah, I'm the leader. Marty and I are together, so he's the co-leader." Marty smiled. "I'm the bodyguard," Cammy says. "We are the twins and the lazys!" Kate and Hayley squealed together. "I'm the calm one," Rob said smoothly. "What about you?" I ask Josh. "You're obviously are the servant or something like that." "Right, but it's butler," Josh told me. "Okay, so what'll I be?" I ask. "Same as our other Lever 1, be the maid," Zara told me. "Maid? Seriously?" "Josh is Level 1." "Really?" I ask Josh. He nods, "I just came about a week ago." "Well, looks like we'll be working together," I replied, letting the slightest bit of disappointment in my voice. We were watching T.V. for a while. We heard a voice say, "Time to go to your dorms." "Um, where do I go?" I ask. "They'll tell ya. They told Cammy and me we were going to get a new roommate. I hope it's you," Zara told me. "See ya at the dorm!" "See ya later at dinner, Cara," Josh told me and waved. "Cara, right?" a staff member asked me. "Yeah, what is it?" I reply. "You will be joining Zara and Cammy in their dorm," they told me. "Sweet." "Yay," they squealed when they found out. "We are going to have so much fun," Zara told me evilly.
Here is the Update someone yelled at me for. (you know who you are) So here it is! Josh's POV Hanging Out We talked about our positions. The head of staff told everyone it was time to go. "See ya at dinner, Cara," I walked away. I missed Cara already. She actually made me happy. "Dude, you really need to control your emotions better," Rob came up behind me. "What are you talking about?" I asked and started walking to our dorm that we shared together. "Dude, I know." "Know what? That I stole your drink to give to Cara?" "Not that! Wait you stole my drink! No wonder it wasn't very good!" "Ha. What do you know?" "You like her." "Who? "Cara! You like her!" "No I don't! She's nice and cool but..." "Do not lie to me! I see it in your eyes! You really like her!" I started smiling, "Whatever!" "Admit it! You really like Cara!" "I'll admit that when you admit you like Cammy!" "Totally different subject! We are talking about Cara, not Cammy!" I smiled some more, "So? Love lives are personal, and it's best that they stay that way." "Your smiling! You know you like her!" "I'll admit I like Cara, when you admit you like Cammy!" I say as I open the door to our dorm. "Alright, I like Cammy," Rob says as he enters the dorm. "Your turn!" "I-I like Cara," I whisper. "Finally! Now tell me what do you like about her!" "God, you sound like Kate and Hayley!" "Whatever! I am reading! You write your little plays!" Rob started reading. I sighed and went to my desk. I got out a piece of paper. I was thinking what the play was going to be about when I looked out the window. I watched the trees sway with the wind. The birds flew away, and then it hit me. I should write a play about someone like me and my friends! It was brilliant! I started writing. I made characters that had the personalities like Rob, Kate, Hayley, Zara, Cammy, Marty, and most importantly, the main characters, Cara and me. It had taken about an hour to write the first scene. Then I heard the dinner bell. "Come on, Rob, let's go eat," I got up and slid the play in a folder. Rob jumped up and ran into the door screaming. "Ow?" "Oh, come on, Rob." I pulled him away from the door and opened it. He ran over the threshold and yelled, "FOOD!" I just walked to the cafeteria. When I walked in I saw Rob stuffing food down his throat. Cara, Kate and Hayley were giggling at him. I grabbed my food and sat down next to Cara. "Hello everyone," I said. "Hey, Josh," Cara said. "Hey, Cara." "Ahem..." Zara coughed, "Can you get me a refill, Cara?" "Sure." She got up and went to get Zara's soda. "Do not tell me you are falling in love with her!" Zara simi-yelled at me when Cara was out of earshot. "Sorry, Zara," I replied. "Dammit!" "Dammit, what?" Cara asked when she came back. "Here's your soda, Zara." "I stubbed my toe," Zara lied. "Oh," Cara sat down and started eating. "Oh, Cara, have you heard about the 5th Annual Summer Dance?" Kate asked. "A dance? What is wrong with this place?" "They think it will 'help our social skills and make us mature,'" Marty said. "And you have to have dates or you can't go!" Hayley and Kate exclaimed. "Marty and I go, but we just dance and talk alone. We never have any friends along with us," Zara told Cara sadly. "That sucks! Maybe if I found a date, I could come," Cara replied. "I can't believe I'm about to squeal about a girly girl but, OMG yay!!" I laughed along with Rob, who didn't have food in his mouth, Kate, and Marty. "Maybe you could go with one in our group!" Zara squealed. "Who?" Cara asked. "Josh or Rob." Long enough for y'all? And I'm mainly askin the person who yelled at me earlier.
