  1. I just finished a longish update. I know y'all have been waiting for one so I am giving it to you now. Hope y'all like it!

    Nat's POV

    Kyle picked me up about fifteen minutes after I called. He arrived in front of me with a confused look on his face. I got in his big black Ford. I looked at him and then he understood. He put the big truck in gear and headed to my house.
    We rode in silence all the way home. I just looked out the window watching the trees, houses, bushes, and such. I just couldn't look at him.
    He finally pulled into the driveway. I was unlocking the door but he stopped me and relocked it. I looked down at the floorboard.
    "Nat," Kyle started.
    I didn't answer.
    "Natalie, answer me," Kyle said sternly.
    "What?" I asked still looking down at the floorboard.
    "Natalie, look at me."
    I looked up slowly, still not looking at him.
    "Nat, look at me, now." He sounded angry.
    I looked over at him, seeing no expression on his face. I just looked at him. I didn't say anything, I was too afraid to say something wrong.
    "Nat, tell me what happened," he said now with a sad expression.
    So I told him everything. I told him about the time from when I got in Amanda's car to calling him while standing in the parking lot of the mall. I even told him about Cara, Josh, and Raychel. When I finished I just looked back down at the floorboard.
    He finally said, "Nat, you did the right thing. She was about to say something wrong about your friend, and you stood up for her. That was exactly the right thing to do." He unlocked the doors and got out.
    I got out of his truck and walked to the door. I fumbled with my keys because of all the stress within the last few hours. I finally got the right key and unlocked the door. I walked inside and looked at the clock. It was only 4:00.
    I groaned and went to my room. I fell onto my bed. Four hours? That was it? It felt like four days considering how badly I felt. I wanted to suffocate myself.
    Kyle sat next to me and took my hand. I looked up at him. He seemed to have just gotten out of bed. He seemed tired, and his brown hair had that just-got-out-of-bed look.
    I kicked my shoes into the closet. Kyle lied down next to me and looked at me. It seemed he was watching me. Finally I looked at him and asked, "What?"
    "You are my girlfriend, I have a right to stare at you," he replied with a smile.
    I smiled at him. "Well, have a good look, 'cuz I might not be back for six months."
    He put his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. I put my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat. After a while we fell asleep.

    Lucy's POV

    "JUST KISS HER ALREADY!" Ivy yelled.
    "Ivy, shut up!" I yelled back and got out from under Drake and stood up. He sighed and got up from the bed. I started toward Ivy and I felt a strange but familiar feeling in my stomach. I doubled over and tried to relax.
    "Lucy..." Ivy said quietly and started to walk towards me. I put my hand up to stop her. Drake ran to my side and helped me to me bed.
    "Mrs. McCormick!" Ivy and Drake yelled.
    My mother ran into the room and saw me clutching my stomach and my eyes closed.
    "Lucy!" she yelled. "Stay calm!" She ran for my father. The feeling was getting worse.
    "Lucy, Ivy, what is going on?!" Drake asked.
    "Personality switch!" Ivy said.
    "Wait, she has a personality disorder?" Drake asked.
    I finally managed to speak. "Yes, I do," I said through clenched teeth.
    "Since when?" Drake asked.
    "As long as I can remember. Ivy has it too; we trigger each other when we are around each other," I answered. My eyes were still closed in pain.
    "Why didn't you tell me this before?" Drake asked.
    "I didn't have time, Drake!" I exclaimed. Finally my father came in with my mother. His eyes must have widened in surprise, I heard it in his voice. He said, "Ivy, Drake, we need to go, NOW!" my father said sternly.
    I heard everyone run out of the room and I heard the door lock. Suddenly the pain grew worse. My eyes snapped opened. Then I blacked out and Lucinda came into the world as I left.

    Cara's POV

    When we got back to the centre I went straight to my dorm. Josh followed me but I wanted to lose him. I just didn't want to talk about the scene in the mall. Finally I ran into my room and locked the door.
    "Cara?" Josh asked and he knocked on the door. "Are you okay?"
    "I-I'm fine, Josh," I said, my voice cracking.
    "Cara, let me in," Josh said quietly.
    I unlocked the door and walked to my bed. Josh opened the door and saw me. He walked over to the bed and sat next to me. I was looked down at the floor.
    "Cara, can you tell me what this was about?"
    I felt tears about to pour out. I didn't want to tell him, but I would cry if I didn't. And if I did, he probably hate me and not want to see me again. Suddenly Josh was holding me and I was crying like there was no tomorrow.
    "Shh..." Josh crooned. His arms wrapped around me tightly and I cried into his chest. "Now, tell me what happened to make you cry like this."
    I stopped crying enough to tell Josh what happened before I came here. I told him about my parents, what Amanda was talking about. Everything. Including what my brother and his friends did.
    When I was done, we were lying down on my bed and he was holding me close.
    Finally he asked, "Why didn't you tell me?"
    Hearing that made me cry once more. I didn't want to answer. I listened him coax me into relaxation.
    Finally I whispered, "I didn't want anyone to know. I thought they would see me differently and never want to talk to me."
    Josh sighed and kissed the top of my head. "I will always talk to you, no matter what," he replied. He whipped tears off of my cheek. The there was a knock at my door.
    "Come in," I croaked.
    Dom came in and said, "Josh you left your..." She saw us together on my bed. She seemed to see the tears that fell on my cheeks. She looked at both of us and said, "Josh, when you are ready, your stuff is at the check-out box." She nodded at me and shut the door as she left.
    "What stuff?" I asked.
    "Your Christmas present," he replied with a smile. I smiled back and closed my eyes. Then, at the sound of the clock and our heartbeats, we fell asleep.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Ivy's POV
    I looked calm, but I wasn't feeling so calm. I knew that I might change like Lucy did. I walked into the living room and sat ton the couch. I could hear Lucy-I mean Lucinda- tearing up Lucy's room. I could hear stuff being thrown, Lucinda yelling, and whatnot.
    Drake sat down next to me. I didn't look over at him. I could feel my head spinning, a sign that I might change.
    "Why is this happening?" I heard Drake ask.
    "When she gets angry, she changes," I answered. I didn't look at him. I was just trying to get the spinning away, if I could. It was starting to subside but it could mean anything.
    "Is that why she is in that treatment institute?" Drake asked.
    "Well, Drake, the thing is, she killed someone when she went on her rampage at the mall," Mrs. McCormick answered.
    "Wow," was all that Drake said. I couldn't understand what he was feeling. All I know that the spinning was almost gone which meant that I would be fine. For now.
    I finally looked up and looked at everyone. The McCormick's had fear plastered on their faces. They jumped every time they heard Lucinda throw something or scream. Drake just sat their, head in his hands, looking shocked.
    I felt sorry for him. And after all, it was my fault. I should be the one on a rampage. I felt so guilty.
    We waited for about an hour before we heard silence. Mr. McCormick walked to Lucy's room with the key in his hand. Mrs. McCormick followed him along with Drake and I. Seth must have been in his room playing one of his loud video games. But I couldn't understand how he didn't hear Lucinda.
    Mr. McCormick unlocked the door as we stood back a few feet. We didn't want to be near the door in case Lucinda was just being quiet. Mr. McCormick walk back to us as he waited for the door to open.
    I held my breath. I didn't want to chance. Not now, not ever again. Then the door opened slowly and I saw...
  15. Ahhh! AMAZING as usual...BUMP
  16. Sorry it took so long for an update!
    Josh's POV
    When we got back from the mall, Cara seemed to be running from me. I followed her back to her dorm. When I went inside, Cara looked so sad. Suddenly she was crying so I did the best I could to comfort her.
    Then she told me everything, including what happened before she killed her brother and what that one girl was talking about before I appeared. I was absolutely shocked. I felt so sorry for her. She had to go through all of that, while her parents didn't even stop it.
    When she had dried most of her tears, Dom showed up. She freaked when she saw us. She told me that the guitar was in the holding area.
    Then Cara finally fell asleep. I watched her sleep for a few minutes before I carefully got up and walked out the door. I walked through the lounging room where Raychel was.
    "Has she told you?" Raychel asked without looking away from the tv.
    "What do you mean? What happened at the mall, or what her brother did to her?" I asked.
    "So you heard. From her. How are you taking it?"
    I shrugged. "Pretty hard. I mean, it's scary about what happened with her brother."
    "Her brother did it for the money. Cara hated it. I would have been there for her if I wasn't one of Amanda's crew at the time." She sighed. I just nodded and started walking out.
    "She loves you, you know?" I heard from Raychel.
    "Really?" I asked as I turned.
    Raychel nodded. "She wouldn't have kept that from you unless if she really cared about you. Freddie already knew, Zander already knew, pretty much everyone in the school knew. But she never told you. And she didn't want to mess it up between you two. That's why she kept it a secret all this time."
    I stood there in disbelief for a few minutes. Then I smiled and walked to the holding area. When I got there I found Cara's guitar in ship-shape. And I found a book. I didn't know what it was so I left it alone.
    I walked to my dorm and hid it well. I walked back to Cara's room quietly. I opened the door and slipped back into her bed next to her. I watched her sleep peacefully. She seemed so happy, so relaxed, unlike how she was at the mall and before she fell asleep. I smiled and snuggled up next to her. And finally, I fell asleep too.
    This might be my last update for a while because I have a family reunion to help prepare for. It's happening in a week so I have to hurry and help!
