AN UPDATE IS HERE! Her glare made me smile even wider. When Jaden wasn't looking she would roll her eyes at me and make "pfft" sound under her breathe. I smirked and looked at my friend Amanda that was laughing really hard at what was happening. Jaden looked at me and smiled, poking my dimpled cheek to get me to laugh. "Neeeesssssssaaaaa..... You know I looooooove you!" "Hehe I know Jaden I love you too." "Good. Now Nessa I want you to meet Joanne. She's a friend of mines." I looked at the other girl. So, her name is Joanne. Hmm typical, looks like she's bothered when Haden said she's a friend. This is going to be way to much fun. I'm going to enjoy this. Let me just be a kind hearted friend like I always am. "Hi Joanne I'm Vanessa. But, you can call me Nessa." I said smiling and reaching my hand out for her to shake it. "Hello Vanesssa. It's a PLEASURE to meet you." She smirked and shook my hand non-chalantly. Wow, can't put anymore emphasis on the word pleasure? I looked at Jaden to see if he noticed. But, as always he's sitting there absent-mindedly smiling to see his best friend and this person or "friend" of his chatting and meeting each other. Man, he is so cute! That smile of his always makes me melt for him. His pearly white straight teeth, the way his light brown eyes have the speckles of yellow and blue. It makes my heart leap a thousand miles. "Well, If you'll excuse me. I'm going to leave to class." Joanne spoke up. "Oh ok Joanne. I'll see you after school then?" Jaden asked "Of course." She had replied with a hint of blush in her face. "I'm out see you Jay." I finally spoke up grabbing my bag and pushing my chair in. He looked at me with a hint of sadness in his eyes. I just pushed it off when walked out the lunch room doors. I didn't want to but being there with him flirting with Joanne. That was just to much. I floated into the ocean of students in my school. I didn't want anyone stopping me so I just went to my last period class and sat in the back. Jaden waltzed in and took his seat next to me. "Hey Nessa? You ok?" "I'm just peachy." "Look don't worry about Joanne ok? We're are just friends. Nothing more." "Oh I'm not worried about her." I looked at him. His eyes showed comfort and happiness. I smiled and laid my head down looking out the window. I watched the wind blow there the trees in our courtyard. It was a beautiful scene. In almost every class I sat by the window and I got to stare off into the beauty and wonders of nature. I must have dozed off because the bell had rang and people were getting ready to leave. I packed my stuff and ran out the class room dodging Jaden and Joanne. When I reached my locker and got it open I heard Jaden's voice along with Joanne's. I quickly grabbed my reading book and slammed my locker shut. I ducked into the classroom my locker was next to and I heard Jaden talking. "I want to invite Nessa with us to the movies." "Why?" Joanne asked. "Because I want you two to get to know each other. Come on she's my best friend." "Hmmm fine ask her." She snarled "Thanks. Come on lets look for her." And with that they walked right past the class room I was in. I hurried out and walked in the opposite direction. I didn't want to get stopped by them. I don't want to go and see them act all flirty. I started walking home, avoiding all the main streets I knew Jaden would take from school to my house and to the movies. When I got home I ran to my room and laid in my bed staring into the ceiling. What am I going to do now? I can't stand being around him when he's with Joanne. Ugh!!!! Poor Nessa. What will she do?
