The kiss took me by surprise, but yet sent cold chills and tingles down my spine. Once we ended it he looked at me with a grin, it left me speechless and blushing, I wanted to tell him how I felt but after that kiss I was positive it was clear that he felt the same way. Kelsey and Amelia met back up with Justin and I and I had the feeling they knew something was up from the complexion of my cheeks and the slight grin gracing Justin's face. Amelia asked if I actually needed any clothes but before I responded she had already assumed I did, I did actually. We spent the next hour expanding my new wardrobe and soon enough I had clothes for everyday of the year, I didn't know how that made me feel but I did need some new clothes, I thanked Amelia and asked if there was any way I could repay her, she just beamed "get Dylan to ask me out. I've had a crush on him since sophomore year, but never said anything" I hugged her with my best power, but the bags weighed me down. "I promise I will get him to or I'll die trying" she giggled and ran off. I heard my phone beeping inside my purse, "probably my dad" I thought to myself, I took a seat outside a small coffee shop, setting my bags down in the chair beside me and started digging for my phone. It was a text from dad asking how I was feeling and if I need an extra day off, I replied I was fine but I wasn't sure how I would handle seeing Connor. The gang had finally found me, "there she is!" Kelsey screamed, I laughed at her, "hey guys, do you think you could skip a day and hang with me?" Asking nervously, I was hoping Justin, Kelsey, and Amelia could all stay "I know I can" Kelsey exclaimed, "I can ask my dad!" Amelia grinned and already got on the phone with her father, "sure, I will" Justin smiled his cute smile at me "the hotel or your house?" He continued "hotel, I have the money dad leant me, it should be enough, but we need Tyler and Dylan." I stood up and grabbed my bags. Amelia happily skipped along beside Kelsey and I, "dad said it was no problem" I giggled at her and Kelsey started skipping with her. We reached GameStop and Justin went in to get them, I was excited to see how they would react towards my new look, once they came out, Amelia and Kelsey stepped aside, letting me walk up. Tyler and Dylan both were in shell shock, "holy Jesus, Avery! You're hot" I laughed at Dylan "thanks" I said, I walked up to Dylan and took him aside "hey, I need to ask you something" I whispered, he nodded his head "do you like Amelia?" He stood silent for a moment "honestly, yes I do" I giggled "you should ask her out, because she likes you back." I smiled at him and just walked off back to the group. We all walked back to the car noticing it was almost dark. I started feeling hungry "is anyone else getting hungry?" Asking curiously, and all at once five 'I am's responded. Justin suggested we decide once in the car, I agreed, but I just wanted to change shoes, I could feel blisters upon blisters upon more blisters forming. "Amelia, do I have any flats to put on?" She pouted "those hurting your feet?" I pouted back at her "yes, very bad" she felt inside the bag that had my old clothes and my Ugg boots until she found a pair that she had purchased, probably knowing my feet would be brutally attacked by these killer shoes, she tossed them towards me and I changed them while walking. Once in the car, Justin suggested Applebee's and that sounded pretty good to everyone else. As he drove I started noticing his old mood coming back, something was still eating at him and he hadn't told me everything, or well, anything of that matter. I was going to find out, I was determined to but afraid to ask, simply because I was afraid to know the answers.

I had to think of something clever to say, I seemed to be the only one who noticed Justin's mood. It was tearing us both apart, I knew whatever you would classify this emotion as couldn't be good for anyone if you just bottled it up. I wasn't afraid to ask him, I was afraid to hear the answer, simply because I was probably thinking over-dramatic when in reality it could just be how he felt about me, something small. I wanted Justin's smile back, that smile he only gave me when he caught me looking at him, the smile that always made me giggle. I tried thinking of ways to just make Justin laugh, like dancing in the car, and singing along with Kelsey to the CD's, off key. I had only made a slight dent in Justin's grin, this was going to be hard, Kelsey wasn't even making Justin chuckle and all I could wonder was how the others haven't noticed Justin's mood changes. We pulled into Applebee's, parking fairly close to the door. I walked along side Justin, my stature next to him, compared would've been about a foot or so difference, I had to move my head up just to look at him. We noticed a few groups of people who were waiting on seats to open, once we walked in the hostess handed us a buzzer and told us it would be about ten to twenty minutes. Justin grabbed the buzzer and we all returned back outside, I took a seat on a square made from rocks that was around a tree, most of the people here were sitting on the other ones as well. I sat alone until Justin came beside me, "something bothering you, Avery?" He asked turning his body so he could look at me, "Justin, you never told me what was wrong. I feel like it's eating at me if I don't know" he sighed grabbing my hand and walking me to the car, once he unlocked it and we got in I noticed he had went from whatever he was in to remorse. He sighed again, my nerves began picking up, "Avery," he paused taking another sigh "Connor is related to me, we're cousins, pretty distant cousins. I told him to tell you I thought you was beautiful, your first day here you walked right past me at the lockers, I was captivated by your breathtaking beauty. I wanted to tell you myself but I was too shy, I asked Connor to do it for me and he said sure, I had no idea he was going to do what all he did, but once I heard from Kelsey what he did to you, I swore I wasn't going to let anyone hurt you. Avery, I promise on my life I'm not going to let anyone hurt you, you're with me." A few tears streamed down my face but it was like I couldn't cry, Justin placed me in his lap, wiping my cheeks and eyes with his thumbs, kissed my forehead, i placed both my hands on his cheeks and kissed him deeply, we were in our happy place.
Something about Justin made me express the same emotions he was feeling, if he felt happy, I too was happy. I couldn't tell you why, how or even what, but it was something about him, I had never got like this around anyone, I typically kept to myself but the fact that I had made friends with Tyler and Dylan, best friends with Kelsey and Amelia and now a boyfriend with Justin completely got me surprise. We sat in the car laughing and talking until we was interrupted by the buzzer going off, we got out and met back up with the others who bombarded us with the question of our absence, in which Justin replied that we went to the car to talk, Dylan insisted that we didn't talk, we "talked" and with a laugh Justin reassured him that we did only talk. We walked in, Justin giving back the buzzer to the hostess and we followed her to a booth. I took my seat beside Justin and Kelsey sat on the edge, beside me, Justin and Kelsey both laughed at the fact that my feet never touched the ground, I just stuck out my tongue to them. Amelia sat beside Tyler and Dylan and I could tell it was awkward for the both of them since they now knew how each other felt. It was cute for me to see Amelia with her nerves acting up, the waitress took our drink order of water, Mountain Dew, Fruit Punch, tea, Pepsi, and Mountain Dew. I couldn't decide what to order, Kelsey wanted to just skip hers and just order the most sugariest and chocolatiest dessert she could find. The waitress came back with our drinks and we decided to order, she walked back to the kitchen and we decided to play iSpy, after a while our waitress brought us our food and we started eating peacefully. I finished and soon after Kelsey, Amelia and Dylan were finished. Justin was done not long after Tyler, after convincing Kelsey she didn't need anything else coated in sugar, Justin left the tip and Amelia went to pay while we all walked to the car, I told Dylan he could sit passenger seat with Justin because I wanted to sit with Kelsey.
