When, I finished drying off, I went into my room, put on a little sundress, and left for the kitchen. "Hi guys." I say smiling, walking down the staircase. "Woah..." Hayden muttered. My mom started giggling. "You look very nice sweetie. Going somewhere?" she asked. "I hope." I said looking at Hayden. "Um, picnic?" "On the beach?" I asked. "Anything for you. We'll just have to stop by Logan's first. You and Kelsey can chat. I'm pretty sure she's still there." he laughed a little. "Alright. Well, can I mom?" I asked. "Have fun. Nice meeting you Hayden." she said softly, smiling at him. "And you as well ma'am." With that we left. -His POV- Me and Keely's mother had a wonderful conversation. We talked all about her childhood, and what she said she wanted to be later in life. We talked about her mother, herself as well. She had been working, until she had Keely, then until she was five. Now, she does small jobs like babysits, crafts, things of the sort. She said she quit because she always wanted to be with Keely. Never once throughout our whole conversation did a father ever once pop into the conversation. I'm curious as of to why. If you were raised alone, it isn't any different." he said quietly. We stopped at Logan's house, and Hayden changed, while I talked to Kelsay, borrowing a bikini in the process. Hayden picked up a basket, a blanket, and we left for the nearest store. Hayden went in buying different things, always making sure to get what I like. I liked how he cared. He wanted me to be happy, not just himself. Maybe it's what I loved most about him. -His POV- I went in alone. I needed time to think. I wanted the rest of the day to be perfect. I don't know how, but I will tell her tonight. I have to tell her. We arrived at the beach shortly later. She looked beautiful, it seemed more than ever. It seemed like the perfect moment to tell her, only I couldn't find the right words. I grabbed her hand, and gently squeezed it. "Keely..." "Yes?", she said smiling. Her smile, with those eyes. It made her seem to shine. "I... I, um." Suddenly the temperature was boiling. "Hayden, are you okay?", she asked moving closer to me. "Yeah. I'm fine. Ready to go?" I asked. "Yeah, but weren't you going to say something?", Keely asked climbing down out of the truck. "Oh, it was nothing." I say, as I go around the truck and grab her hand. 'Idiot.' We found a spot on the beach and set up everything for the picnic. I managed to knock things over, and trip over my own two feet. Hayden rushed over to help me up. "Are you okay? You seem distracted." "I am. All I can think about is what you were going to tell me in the car." I admitted. "Keely..." "It's fine. If you don't want to tell me, you don't have to. I understand." I said quietly, looking down. "But the thing is I have to. I'd never forgive myself if I didn't tell you.", he said, placing his finger under my chin and gently lifts my head. He gently kisses me, and looks into my eyes. "I love you, Keely." "Y-you love me?" I repeat. "I do. I love you, Keely. I'll say it as many times as I need to."
