~•~ Our Little Secret ~•~ Chapter Three : Our Short Departure ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• ~•~ Her POV ~•~ That night before leaving the beach we all said our goodbyes. Kelsay and Logan sharing their passionate kiss, while Hayden and I awkwardly stand there. He nudges me, causing me to look up at him, and see him smiling down at me. I smile back, and we share an awkward two second hug. Finally, we all get in our cars, and head towards home. I thought about him for a while. I'm not sure how long. I'm guessing long enough to make Kelsay to insane. She pinches my arm. "Helloooo? Earth to Keely!" she says. I jump and look around. "What? I'm awake." I reply. "Well, okay. You just got quiet... I was making sure you were okay." she says softly. "Yeah. I'm fine, thanks." "Don't mention it. We'll be at my house in the next ten minutes, so you need to call your mom. Wanna rent a movie first?" she asks. "Yeah sure." I reply smiling. I pull out my phone, and dial my mothers number. Voicemail. I hang up, and call again. "Hey." "Hey. I'm staying at Kelsay's since it's so late." "Yeah. That's fine. Have a nice time." she says quietly. "Alright. Thanks mom. Night. Love you." "Love you too sweetheart." The phone clicks. "Alright. All set." I say. We pull up to the movie rental store, pick out five or so movies, and leave. Finally, making it to Kelsay's, I run in to make popcorn, while she puts in the movies. "So?" she says. "So? So what?" I ask. "I saw you checking him out. What do you think?" "Oh my God. I don't know. I mean he is kinda cute... He's not interested anyways." I mutter. "Ha! Lie again! You know he was checking you out!" she squeals. "Whatever. Just start the movie." She laughs. "Yes ma'am." Halfway through our third movie, I fall asleep. Thinking about nothing, but him... ~•~ His POV ~•~ Before we left the beach, Keely and I were forced to watch the lovely dovey couple make out. I couldn't help it, I hugged her. I actually touched her. I knew she was like me now. She has powers like me. I didn't confront her. I'm not sure when that will happen. Anyways, Logan and I headed back to his place. After a good thirty minutes we made it back. We walked inside, and hang out in his room. "So? What did you think dude?" Logan asked. "What do you mean?" I looked over at him. "After you two got along, you were totally checking her out. Think you can get with her?" "Oh my God. Are you serious?" I ask. "As serious as I can get." he replies laughing. "Well, I have to admit she's beautiful. I don't know. Maybe. Do you think I've got a shot with her?" I ask. "Totally dude. She was checking you out." I laugh. "Whatever. I'm gonna go crash on the couch. Okay?" "Yeah yeah. Whatever." I walk downstairs, throw myself on the couch, and eventually fall asleep. ~•~ Our Little Secret ~•~ Chapter 4 : Our Dream Further Revealed ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• ~•~ Her POV ~•~ Considering I had no plans for the weekend, I stayed at Kelsay's. Our weekend consisted of movies, popcorn, tons of soda, and not to forget, out wonderful beach trip with the boys. Sunday night finally rolled around, Kelsay and I were dragged to church by her mother, so of course Logan was called. I wondered if Hayden would still be with him. After about fifteen minutes of driving, we pull into the church parking. Logan already waiting outside. I didn't see Hayden around. Kelsay ran up to Logan and hug him tightly. I silently walked behind her mother. "There's no need to be shy Keely." Kelsay's mother says softly. "I-I've never been to church before, and my dress... It's horrible..." I say. I had chosen a pink knee length dress with black stripes. Now that I had put it on and worn it out of the house, I felt hideous. We walked inside the church to sit down, and I bump into someone. I look up to see a smiling face. "I saved you a seat." his voice replied "Hayden..." I looked up and smiled. He gently took my hand, and led me to where he was sitting. He sat so close to me, but it felt right... He leaned over to me, and whispered in my ear. "You look beautiful." My face gets bright red. I squeeze out a silently "thanks". After an hour of hearing absolutely nothing come from the preachers mouth, somehow the service was over. The church quickly emptied, people pilling up in groups outside the building to chat amongst themselves. Sooner or later Kelsay's mother finally said it was time for us to leave. Logan kissed Kelsay on the cheek, so a scene wouldn't be caused. "Bye Hayden..." I said quietly. He took my hand, and softly kissed it. I don't think my face had ever gotten that red before. "Goodbye Keely." I silently got in the car, and we drove off. As soon as we got back to Kelsay's house, she attacked me. "Since when are you two an item?!?" she squealed. "W-We aren't! I didn't know he was going to do that!" "You practically melted when he did though! You like him don't you?" she asked. "No." I replied. "Keely!" "Okay, so maybe I do." "I knew it!" she laughed. "Whatever, you so didn't. Anyways, I'm going to bed." I said. "Night." I went upstairs, stole some of Kelsay's pjs , and went to lay down. Sooner or later, I fell asleep. ~•~ His POV ~•~ I crashed at Logan's all weekend. It was pretty chill. Xbox Parties, video games, root beer. Not to mention the night at the beach. Sunday night rolled around, and Logan got a call from Kelsay's begging him to go to church with her. I knew Keely was still with her, so I went with him. When we pulled up there where tons of people outside in the parking lot. "Considering I don't like mingling I'll be going inside now." I told Logan. "Okay. I'll be waiting outside for Kelsay." He replies. "If Keely shows up, don't tell her I'm here." "Alright stalker." he replies. I walk inside, find somewhere to sit, and wait. It felt like I was waiting forever. I got up to walk outside, and bumped into Keely. Finally. "I saved you a seat." I smiled at her. "Hayden..." she said softly. I gently took her hand, led her to where I was sitting, and helped her into her seat. I say close to her. Maybe closer than she liked, but she didn't move me away, so I didn't move. Taking a shot in the dark I leaned over and told her she looked beautiful. Her face turn a dark shade of red. She quietly said thanks, and that was that. After an hour of hearing absolutely nothing the preacher said, the service ended. The church emptied, everyone talking outside. After a while, Kelsay's mother told them it was time to go. Logan kisses Kelsay's cheek. I wanted to do the same, but didn't want to be rejected. Instead, I took her hand, and kissed it. "Goodbye Keely." I said. "Bye..." We got in Logan's car, and he looked over at me. "Smooth move." "Ha. Yeah right..." I said. We drove back to his house. I walked in and through myself on the couch. "I going to sleep." I said. "Alright dude." He walked upstairs, and I heard his door close. Sooner or later, I feel asleep. ~•~ Her POV ~•~ It's happening again. My dream. I'm surrounded. There's no escape for me. I'm done. They're going to kill me. The door burst open like always, but I see my heros face. I wake up. I'm covered in sweat. "Hayden..." ~•~ His POV ~•~ It's happening again. My dream. She surrounded. She looks like she's lost all hope. Why does she give up on me so easily? I burst in the door, but it's different this time. I see her face. I wake up. Breathing heavy and covered in sweat. "Keely..." ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• Sorry it took so long for me to update guys! I'll try to update more frequently now!
~•~ Our Little Secret ~•~ Chapter 5 : Our Confrontation ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• ~•~ Her POV ~•~ I couldn't go back to sleep. I didn't even try. Monday morning. School. I couldn't face him. I have no choice. I can't just skip school. Mother would find out. I stumbled upstairs, went in the bathroom, and started the shower. I quietly walked into Kelsay's room, grabbed a dress, and walked back into the bathroom. I pressed my heads against the wall, and stood under the warm water. 'What the hell does this even mean?' I thought to myself. I had a horrible headache. It felt like my head was going to split open any moment now. I tried to fight it off, but it wasn't working. I pressed my index finger to my forehead, and slowly the pain went away. I don't know how long I was in the shower. Eventually, I got out. I dried off, did my hair and makeup, and finally got dressed. I picked out my favorite dress of Kelsay's. A strapless dress the back longer, and the front being shorter, the top white with black chevron strips, and the bottom a light blue color. I put on a pair of matching blue color converses. By the time I was done getting ready for school it was 6:30. Kelsay's souls be up by now. I walked into her room, and she was getting dressed. She turned around and looked at me. "You look beautiful." she said. She still sounded really tired. "Thank you." I said blushing. "When did you wake up?" she asked. "I don't really know. I didn't wake you, did I?" "No, you didn't. Come here though." she said. I walked over to her, she began pulling my hair away from my face, putting it into a high ponytail, leaving a few pieces stranded around my face. "That's much better." she says. I walk over to her dresser mirror, look at my reflection, and smile. "Thanks." "Mhm. You ready to go?" she asks. "I didn't eat anything yet." I reply. "I know. I'm going to take you out for breakfast. We have enough time." she says smiling. "Alright. Then if your ready lets go." We got into my car, Kelsay's giving me directions to the diner she's taking me to. Finally, we found it. We walked inside, and a younger looking lady showed us to our booth. A few moments later, Logan and Hayden walked in. "You invited them?" I asked. "Yeah. Why not?" "Where's the bathroom?" I asked quickly. "In the back." I got up from our table, through the diner to the back, hoping I wasn't seen by him. 'Come on Keely. You can't stay in here forever.' I leaned against the bathroom door. After a few minutes I walked back to our table. Kelsay's had order my favorite for me. "Thank you." I squeeze in the booth besides Hayden not making eye contact. Suddenly, all his thought come rushing towards me. 'Did I do something? Is she okay? Maybe something happened.' he kept thinking over and over. My headache came back. Worse than ever. I looked up at him and smiled. 'Okay...' he thinks. He smiles back. After everyone is done eating we all head to school. I'm at my locker. Kelsay and Logan already disappeared. Hayden comes up to me. "Can we talk?" he asks. "Um, sure." "Outside?" We walk outside, and sit on one of the school benches. He seems really nervous. "Okay. This is going to sound strange, but last night I dreamt about you." he says quietly. "That doesn't sound strange at all." I reply. "How's that?" he asks. "Because I dreamt about you as well. You saved me from my certain death." "Wait what?" "I've had this dream a couple of times. I've been trapped. Surrounded. I've given up hope on someone. It feels like they've been gone forever. But last night I had the dream again. You're the one that's going to save me from my total destruction." I say calmly. "You've been having the same dream?" "The same?" "The same dream." he replies. I look at him with widen eyes. "You're a seeker, aren't you?" he asks quietly. ~•~ His POV ~•~ I try and try to go back to sleep. I don't want to think about what I've just seen. After an hour of trying to go back to sleep, I give up. I walk upstairs and shower. I felt like I was in there forever. I finally pull myself out of the shower. I walk into Logan's room over to his closet. I take out a grey shirt, and a regular pair of jeans. Throw on the clothes, and go back downstairs, and wait for Logan to get up. Sooner or later Logan comes downstairs. "We're going to eat breakfast with Kelsay and Keely." "Great." 'Now I have to face her even earlier.' I thought. We get in the car and drive. We go inside the diner, and all I see is Keely get up and run to the back. A few minutes later she comes back to the table. She sits by me, but avoids eye contact. She won't even say "hi." 'Is she okay? Did I do something? Maybe something happened.' Then, she looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back, and I felt a little better. After we all finished eating we left for school. When we arrived Kelsay and Logan disappeared. Keely was at her locker by herself. 'This is my chance to talk to her.' I walk up to her, and tap her shoulder. "Can we talk? Outside?" I ask quietly. "Um, sure." We walk outside. She can tell I'm nervous. "Okay. This is going to sound strange, but last night... I dreamt about you." I say softly. "That's not strange at all." she replies. "How so?" "Because I dreamt about you as well. You saved me from my certain death." she says quietly. "Wait. What?" I ask. "I've had this dream a couple of times. I've been trapped. Surrounded. I've given up hope on someone. It feels like they've been gone forever. But last night I had the dream again. You're the one that's going to save me from my total destruction." she says calmly. "You've been having the same dream?" I ask. "The same?" "The same dream." I say. She looks at me with wide eyes. "You're a seeker, aren't you?" I ask. ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• I hope you guys enjoy this! It took forever to finish. I had half of it written, and then my sister took my phone and erased it.
